Hey man, bats are cool! You could name it something like "Nyctalis," or "Myotis." Bats have been known to feed on birds, you know.

And as far as the "look" of ships is supposed to go... its really not a bad thing if they look somewhat alike. Having _too_ many types of 'looks' can turn out to be a bit eccentric. Its better if each faction/nation has somewhat of its own flavor. Of course, going outside of that flavor every once in a while makes sense as well.

If you ask me, I think the different marks of ships (mkI, mkII, mkIII) should be somewhat visually distinguishable.

Very nice work on the ships, Harry. I wish I had the time and talent to throw shapes together like that. I have a lot of ideas in my head (like almost everybody), but I'm just not that good at 3d modelling.

Its probably a good idea to keep in mind surface area. The larger the surface area = the easier it is to hit = making it less plausible as a small fighter. Keep in mind what you are designing it for.

Thanks Harry! I like the battish look, but I'm not sure everyone else will go alone with it. They might like an extended wing version taken off of the one with wings closer to the body. Thanks for trying my suggestion harry, I appreciate it!

Heh. Realistically, I've got a lot of work this week, and I haven't started texturing the Pegasus. So, don't expect to be seeing any new ships or textured ships for another week or more.
