Chikira, I took care to avoid text-wrapping issues with links. It'd be REALLY cool if you did the same and replaced that long link you had with http://tinyurl.com/cgbjs . I don't want this page to turn into being as hard to read as page 29. >_<

Ok that's starting to look really good. Are you doing that all with a drawing pad? No assistance from a 3d app? I didn't know that there were people out there who knew how to draw perspective without the aid of a computer!

The only thing I don't like is the glowing green nerf ball thing on the back end. It doesn't look like it belongs there. It looks like some sort of retrofitted alien technology, tacked on at the last second.

Wow - I agree. I wasn't too terribly impressed with the original piece, but the updated one looks really cool. I actually like the little green ball thing on the back - Sometimes it's cool to have things that "don't belong there," at least in my opinion. Maybe it has some kind of new engine drive...

As far as capital ship practicality goes... the 'wings' on the back are questionable. Maybe if you redid them so they looked like zero-grav stabilizers (ie vertical thrusters)... or weapon platforms. They look nice, though.

thats a thought.... And i thought te back looked a little stagnant so i just thought of putting some kind of cool looking propulsion system in. I was also gonna put a space station in the background. And ya all im using is photoshop and a tablet.

oh one question... do yuo guys think it looks dark? It looks way more colorful and bright in Photoshop than it does in my browser. do you guys see all the detail i do?

Honestly, it reminds me too much of the ship that's used in Serenity/Firefly, the one the Reavers had. Not exact mind you, and it is a bit dark but a good start.

you know ive seen that movie like 3 times and i dont rmemeber ever seeing that ship. Anyway, the design im using IS pretty generic. im really only doin this to hone some drawing skills. Besides. its nice to see something painted rather than rendered once in a while.
