Pirogoeth, you misunderstood. The raw nature of the game--the way the game has been programmed to see each nation--is that the three nations are fighting each other. Anyone besides your nation is red on your radar and you can inflict damage on them. The ROLE PLAYING is what allows those alliances to occur. In other words you can still kill your ally because the game does not distinguish between the two. That's all I was pointing out.

SirCamps, what exactly are you saying? None of my posts were opposing the idea of guilds. I'm not anti-guild or anything. This discussion stemmed from Roguelazer saying that INM shouldn't be attacked without just cause because their intentions are righteous. I responded by saying that it doesn't matter since anyone can role play to be whatever they want and still be legitimate.

The attitude between the players and guilds in this thread should be for role playing purposes only. If it's a personal attack or if someone had any intention of starting a flamewar, that's when the moderator usually steps in. If someone wants to hate a certain guild (in this case INM) just because they're in another nation and they want to role play a character that has a hatred towards all Itani, that's their choice.

My post was agreeing with your previous one demonstrating how friendly fire helps RPing.

Yes, but it'd be considered flaming, so I'll save it. Besides, this is SL's thread, not mine. We've gone off-topic, anyways, from talking about INM actions to friendly fire....
