Good news post.

There might be some interesting ramifications for weapons-as-cargo. You'll be able to get it into your cargo bay when someone drops it, but will you be able to use it if you don't have the required licences? (I'm guessing that it'll show up red like in the purchasing menu, but we'll see how it pans out.)

OOOO!! nuther idea! How bouts a new Moth Varient with a greatly increase cargo capacity and greatly reduced speed and armor for us traders (pirates) so we have a, err, better large haul freighter (target).

I kept the cargo capacity, but I reduced top speed and armor. Already did that. Bunch of other tweaks in the works too.

So the nerfed moth is here already? Nice! That simple change will totally change the way people have been trading, not to mention the escort missions.

The moth changes aren't in production yet, but they've already been implemented for the next release.

nice now don't forget to make Large ships abble to transport lighter and the game will be near perfect (perfection will be when you 'll add the costumisable ship external view :p )

Eeeeeexcellent. *makes tent with fingers*

Items that you can equip in your ships get dropped when you die - awesome.
Being able to transport weapons, batteries, scanners and mining beams to and fro just like cargo - awesome.
A fully-functioning economy based on the laws of supply & demand - awesome.
Capships will require missions and construction parts/ores - awesome.
Crafting items will be introduced after the economy's up and running - awesome.

Questions:
Will the stations have limited storage space with the new economy?
If so, will players have to rent storage space?
What about docking space for multiple ships at the same station?
Will we, as rich players, have the ability to cause fluctuations in the prices of goods?

Arrrgh.

Really, as a paying customer, this repeated mucking about with existing content is VERY ANNOYING...

The Moth has been borked at least once already.

Maybe just make it explode when hailed and be done with it?
