"Entering Station" screen has a little button that says "Disconnect." Unfortunately, it's defaulted to enter, which just also happens to be the activate button. Now when someone accidentally hits enter twice when docking, they're disconnected from the game entirely. I don't think this button is terribly necessary.
My ship status box is just a green box when flying the Warthog.
Getting the "Unknown player '11' leaving sector" prevents the client from entering the game at the "Entering World" screen. Actually, it just stops being able to enter the game period.
Double tapping the activate key when docking defaults the "Disconnect" button on the loading window, and kicks the player out of the game. (I got into the habit of mashing the activate key when I got into the habit of boosting into the dock)
After logging in, for some reason, the chat tab defaults to the Mission tab.
Instead of "Speeding through space" when warping, I think the message should state "Improbability Factor of 23050193921:1" And when you exit from a jump, you should get a message that says "Normality Achieved"

so far the station interface is working well, and pretty much has not bugs at all except for the basic windows interfaces on the mission descriptions. The new colors are a nice addition and The vulture looks alot better in black! lol.
im uploading an outside station interface which is kinda bugged at 800x600 res

The hud UI
-Turbo bar is missing, all that is there is the numbers.
-F5 buttons doesnt adjust size
-Once you reach 3000m the graphic bar below dissapears
-unable to change view using f9
*just a few quick things*
Oh and the tab button will auto-exit the cilent on a loading screen, dont know if thats intentional as a kinda safe gaurd against system crashs but its useful for now.

Minor bug:
If you have a weapon with more than its maximum ammo (I have Sunflares with 16/12), the replenish ammo buttons show negative credits (nonzero anyway; maybe that dash is supposed to be there). Clicking the replenish buttons does nothing, but clicking the "Buy (1) ammo - 40c" makes me LOOSE ammo (changes from 16/12 to 12/12). I think it charged me 40c, too.

Bug:
typing /bind <key> no longer echoes what the indicated key is bound to.
Also, I saw an absolutely blood-red Warthog today, like the coloring had spilled out of the assigned patches and covered everything. Not sure where it came from.

Bug: The Max button seems to purchase the max you can fit in your selected ship, and sell the same, but there are no limits on the amount of cargo you can purchase or sell at one time. Maybe intentional, but it was never mentioned as being changed.
Bug: News doesn't seem current.
Bug: Purchasing ships sometimes makes the client crash.
Bug: When you pick up cargo, the glowing ends remain in space.
Bug: If you sell a ship, and you have a number greater than 1 in the quantity box, you get a lua error.
Hmmmmmm moment: It took me a minute to find the "Set Home Station" button
Suggestion: Move the buttons to the left of the screen, or the tabs to the right. There is no reason for having to move the mouse all the way to the other side of the screen every time you need to switch tabs or select a new button. Alternately, Place the buttons horizontally in a row below the tabs, making them easilly selectable and Hierarchical down from the top.
REALLY LIKE:
1. Being able to sell a ship without unequipping it first
2. The inventory list. one little bug though, if you close up a station 'directory' they are open again when you return to a station. Annoying if you spent 10 minutes collapsing all of them.
3. The color bars for Nation standing. Very cool. If you click on them you get the standing number too. slick.
4. Vulture looks KICKASS in black
5. More dark colors!

Here here on the good things on the new UI!.
Being able to sell a ship without unequiping everything really saves time, an futsing around with with different tabs. The new Inventory system really does solve issues relating to organization and buying what I want is quicker and easier to accomplish in a orderly manner. This also was a help win trying to reach a bonus in time, normally in the old cilent I would futs around say looking for some ferric ore on a trade mission, however now I simply select commodities selct the item fill my hold and off I go, saving at least 30 seconds in the process. The new standing interface is slick as Tumblemonster stated, pulls some of the numbers outta Vendetta that were so used to being bogged down with.
Unlocking the darker colors was a nice addition and may I request that you do the same with the old cilent as a quick patch, should't be to hard. Being a member of the TGFT thank you for finally giving us a true drak green to use. ;) just as an Idea, in Need for Speed they have a varitiy of paints, such as metallic and others etc, perhaps these same things could be appiled to vendetta to give us and even wider aray of colors to choose from. Or perhaps allow ship colors to be adjusted for a fee from the station. Say 500 c?
Another feature Im finding very useful is the nav map in the station, which allows me to set my course quickly. Just a through out idea, right now were only allowed to plot one course at one time in a straight line.. point a to b. now bare wuth me, perhaps after the frist pick you hit shift and are allowed to set another marker, and then another, as an eaiser way of navigating around asteriod feilds and Ion stroms, now they wouldn't simply jump through all of them at once but it would allow them to quickly jump from sector to sector without using the Map screen everytime.
Another thing I think nobody commented on is the new equipping system, im very fond of it, and I love that your moving towards a more graphically represented layout rather than wording. Now it still needs some crisp images to replace the kinda fuzzy ones but for now they do well, and I love the new system. Great job! that was my favorite thing so far in the new UI
Next is the ship selection screen, this is very handy, instead of searching through dozens of ships i get to see what I have at the station and easily swict between them. good job, Saves me time and speedlines alot of things in general.
Anyway I wont touch on the Hud right now becuase I think thats been covered already.

Bugs I found (windows PC):
Instation: news items are out of order. I was moving around the list and saw some older news both above and below newer ones. Also, some news items are missing altogether.
The HUD problems MAC users are reporting I haven't seen in Windows, except for the 3D bound box one, which the guy named "09864828" reported about two pages back, with a pic and all.
I use an Xbox gamepad which runs fine under the old UI, but with this new one I get the button??? problem others have reported, including the crash to desktop when you click apply.
I did a couple of intersystem jumps and everything was fine, then went and killed a couple of Tycorps ona VUlt MkIII with twin sparrow phasers, and when I jumped to station the game hung up in the "speeding through space" screen. I had to put my system in sleep mode and back to recover control of it and then close the program.
I can open the navscreen in space with 'n', but I can't use 'n' again to close it.
Already reported, but annoying and confusing not to see confirmation for toggling FA, mouselook, autoaim, etc.

Not reading other's posts, so some of this may be a dupe.
These are my thought on all fo this from this morning:
Upon initial login, I got a dialog window asking me yes/no to giving Guild feedback via the forums. This dialog popped up over the EULA, and the alpha of the EULA and dialog obscured each other. After clickign yes, I became stuck on the "gettign characters" screen and had to press ESC a few times to get back to the login.
After logging in, all was fine and characters came up as normal.
SUGGESTION: Place character's current location in the available information.
I began tweakign settings immediatly, noting that there are drop down menus with textual representations of sliders. I figure it's a placeholder, but shoudl be mentioned: keep sliders where they are logical.
One fo the features I like about the current VO production client is the ability to scale the UI to my choosing. Make sure this feature returns as is, if not a bit more user friendly. I typically run at 1600x1200 but keep my UI proporations scaled as 640x480.
Certain options menus are not centered. Namely, the keyboard configuration. It becomes a very tiny column on the left at 1600x1200. This should "flow" a bit more across the screen, and be centered.
The text focus is stolen on button clicks while docked. The chat text field should route to the current chat input line on keystroke, unless another text field is explicitly selected first.
The phantom pixel on the upper right and lower left corners of every button, tab, and window. Breaks the continuity of the UI's look. Either needs to be filled in, or modified to be more gradient around it.
And finally. while undocked, I noted that the hundreds digit of my speed was being truncated when traveling at 200 and above.
Also, I sent a "winky" and the client CTDed on me. (error log was emailed to Incarnate). Subsequent attempts to duplicate the CTD have failed. Long live the winky! ;)

I got the same "FATAL EROR COUlDN'T OPEN WINDOW" message when I launch the client, like Renegad and Pilot 13, the old is still running.
i also got the "Fatal Error: Couldn't open window". The trick is not to "Drag & Drop" the zip contents, but rather, use the "extract" zip command. This creates some subdiriectories expected by the new client.
Having identical problem as everman7. I'm running the same basic Mac system and getting the same Mac error logs.

768Ram, 32meg FX5200.
1024x768 res in window mode.
GREAT IMPROVEMENT!!!
only bug i've run into (so far) is the HUD, though mine is slightly different than the ones mentioned. I'll try to edit this with a screenshot if I can rememeber how...
My battery indicator is totally gone. The speed indicator is there if I am not moving. The pink part works, but where the lighter green is supposed to be (the speed the ship is set to) makes (from the bottom up) bar dissappear completely.

Two more bugs in Windows:
1. When the ship's speed reaches 200+ the "2" is clipped. Minor, but annoying.
2. I tried to /givemoney to someone, and got a Lua error screen that was too small to read anything but the OK button. When I clicked it the client crashed to the desktop.
