BUG!
When i undocked from TPG Capitol...i then stopped. i typed eh? and then i saw my cursor. Could not do anything so i quit and tried again. Fine until i warped then same problem..

BUGS
1) If you become damaged in a sector with a wormhole you become unable to jump through that wormhole. Client becomes unresponsive requiring a 'Force Quit' (OSX 10.4.4)
2) Weird ion storm bug. Just been in an ion storm where one if the bots was called 1073769361. Note no * at the begining of the name, but the bot was 'unaligned' As i flew through the storm the bots name / number became less IE 1073769360 then ....9359. Number changed / dropped 1 approx every 15 seconds.

It sounds like a convoy or fresh hive bots came into the storm sector and your client didn't update the name changes. All bots coming into sectors start out as unaligned with those numbers then get changed to aligned and named.
Duplicated Black Omega's bug. Damaged myself against a roid in Bractus D14 and was unable to warp or jump. Continuous freezes.

I took damage in a hog by ramming a friendly moth.

Yeah, I think I fixed that.
Here's a list of most of the things that were fixed so far:
* buyback shouldn't get stuck when trying to buyback something that isn't at the local station
* client now runs on macos 10.2
* tab-completion on mac/linux versions now works
* progress bars now render properly in OpenGL mode
* vulture and warthog render now properly when shaders are off
* changing key binds properly removes the key from the previous bind
* energy is now drained after jumping/warping
* Disconnect/Cancel button is no longer the default button when docking/jumping/etc...
* 'Unknown player ... leaving sector" dialog no longer opens
* target info now shows targeted player's nation
* shift-clicking on navmap now adds waypoints on mac/linux versions
* pressing N wasn't closing the navmap?
- worked fine in win32/mac
* pressing F1 should now close HUD help menu
* pressing Jump in navmap with energy < 25% now reenables the HUD
* /givemoney command works again
* jettison order now reflects order in which cargo are received
* Joystick POV binding works now
* Mission info screen looks better now
* News is sorted by time and displays the posted time. News article menu looks nicer
* Switching between flight-assist and physics mode retains current speed
* confirmation text for FA change, mouselook, autoaim, etc... are now displayed to chat log
- /bind <key> wasn't showing what the key was bound to when done from the chat entry box
* no more client lockups when hitting objects with your ship
* navmap always opens to current sector now
* survey window doesn't open over EULA anymore
* keys shouldn't get stuck anymore (ie. turbo key while warping, etc...)
* player names are now properly updated in the player list menu
* chat is now sent to errors.log
* active chat tab is recorded so the correct tab is active when player logs in
* active ship indicator for active ship in sell menu (as text on the right side)
and a partial list of things to do yet:
- other dialogs steal focus away from console when they open
- can buy ammo for non-active ships in same station (may be the intended behaviour)
- chat filters are not implemented
- Hide Station in Menu setting isn't being used
- cargo orb effect sometimes doesn't go away
- text clipping in speed indicator when speed is > 199 m/s
- 3d selection box around objects isn't using the z-buffer
- HUD doesn't have the rescale capability

Zyl: there actually are tooltips, just not very many. Try the Ship Equipment screen, and hover over the ports displayed above your ship.
Well with those adjustments, I think ill go back to the new UI now ;) yay! pretty vendetta! lol
Speaking of those tooltips, Andy... I died and re-bought the same ship. It took a long time so I hit cancel. It showed that I re-bought the ship but add-ons weren't present in the Ship Equipment screen.
The slots were empty but the correct names of the add-ons displayed in the tooltips.

Maybe next, you could remove that inconvenience the invaders of our privacy have to go through by actually being ingame all the time, and just mail the logs straight to the interested parties, mmm?

You can redirect chat logging in the new client at the console in the next version: type "function sandbox.log_chat() end" to make the chat logger do nothing. We'll clean up some Lua code for you guys to mess with sooner or later..
Yea, because I'm terribly worried about what I might do to this data.
Not that I'm really all that worried what others might do with it, but it does mean that I have to trust more than just you devsy guys to handle it appropriately. And I'm not so sure I like trusting certain people.

I don't quite understand what you're saying.
You don't want other people to be able to record their chat (which would include your chats if you say stuff in a channel they're recording)?

P.s. Were would I find chat logs under the new cilent? I've searched the files and they seem to be non-existant.
