A very productive day 1, we finished 6 matches, and finished enough of the Lightweight class to begin on the second set.

Tournament Tables updated again.
Mike-L has forfeited the tournament and dropped out. The vacancies left in his Heavyweight match with CygnusX and Prom match with JBE Zorg have been filled with Spaceranger and Matriarch respectively in order to keep the tables as even as possible. Please arrange matches with your new match partners.
Blue Streak is on a roll, having 'rocketed' past two opponents already (gotta watch out for those rockets, folks!) but is having a fair number of issues in the process. Don't issue too much, Blue, or you might lose a match! Also, remember that depleting your ammunition stock before the end of the round will constitute a loss, and should be avoided.
Nerde is also on a roll, with both Proximity and Ayn falling before his fearsome popcorn in the Lightweight division. It's only fearsome is Nerde is throwing it... His next match will be with the victor of (Gavan/Jeffreson)/Spuck. Feel free to choose odds and place a wager.
Aequitas' Talon has joined the Valkyrie Class, but won't be fighting anyone until the finals, unless someone else new signs up.

Not to be a pain, but I beat Jeff in the Heavyweight Class, I belive I still have the logs to prove it, hold on and I will see if I can find them.

I did, it was my bad; I accidentally marked next to jeff for the third round. I'm fixing it now - thanks for the heads up... this is why we have 2 judges per round. lol.

The pace is slowing as we near the semifinals in the lightweight class, with Heavy and Superheavy far behind. Please arrange meeting times with your match partners and discuss them with the judges so we can get your matches out of the way.
In Lightweight today, Gavan defeated Jeffreson Clay in two rounds, and advanced. His next match will be with mr_spuck, and the winner of that match will face off with Nerde Verde in the semifinals. If Gavan defeats spuck, we could have a real exciting faceoff between two of the universe's best.
Gavan paid his tournament entry fees today, but nobody has heard yet from Hortan, Mick or sapo_sk. If these fighters don't show soon, they may need to be ejected from the tournament.
Just a reminder to Proximity, we only have your entry fee for the lightweight class, and will still need an additional 100k before you can compete in the heavy class.

Next big match: Gavan, council and lieutenant of The Syndicate pirate guild VS. Nerde Verde, skilled lieutenant of the rival anti-piracy guild, The Vipers.
Gavan's favourite so far has been the Rev C and a combination of Law Neutrons and AAPs.. We'll see if Nerde and his ubiquitous popcorn cannons will let him keep fighting this way.
