Would words even have been created to describe forests if everyone was muted to begin with?
I see where you're going with this. We should mute everyone by default, and only let them talk in guild chat. This will make it hard to recruit for guilds, but we can work around that by rubbing our ship tenderly against potential recruits as if they were a leg and we were a compassionate dog.
Dude, that is just completely inappropriate. Actually the way we would be rubbing against them would be as through they were the file on one tegmen and we were the scraper on the other. The resonating of the harp's sclerotinized membrane would indicate compatibility and beckon them into the guild.

His determination was that he would respond to this suggestion when he has the time. That he hasn't responded yet would imply he doesn't feel it's a hugely important or pressing issue.
He also said that if people see an abuse of /vote mute that they can report it, implying that any abuse that is occurring is not enough to warrant employing any new measures to offset the negative effects of said abuse AND that he views the support ticket process is entirely sufficient in handling any /vote mute abuse that occurs.
The OP here rests entirely on the premise of disincentivizing abuse. Incarnate clearly is not concerned with the amount of abuse that is occurring (if any), thus rendering this suggestion a waste of crickets.
A better use of your crickets would be to throw them at a NEW suggestion stating that group and guild chat should be removed from /vote mute because you think it "just makes sense".

He doesn't have a lot of free time. His lack of comment does not indicate a lack of interest. They're my crickets and I'll use them for the items I believe represent a good cricket value. I have no shortage of crickets. I appreciate your concern though!
