I just picked up a few Skynnard tracks so look for that in the future. I'll probably divide up the schedule into programs for more specialized formats, so Skynnard would fit well with a rock-oriented program.

Another person had inquired about doing a news program and I'm still open to that or other contributions that are either serious role-playing or humorous.

Some other weekly program ideas are:

- An advice column that answers questions (real or made-up) from listeners such as how to stop rolling.

- An anonymous food reviewer that travels to various stations and samples the local cuisine (usually encountering something horrible tasting or committing a big faux pas).

- A version of consumer reports that reviews new ships and equipment.

Ok, I've implemented the first "program" that is something other than the default. It starts at 8:30 EDT (about 15 minutes from now) and runs for 3 hours. It's a Rock/Metal format for those that wanted something more high energy.

Hey Screwball, great taste in music! Even some old Duran Duran tracks for us who were there to remember the 80'ies, hehe.

Biosphere (Norwegian techno/ambient artist) has two albums called Microgravity and Patashnik with very deep space-ish sound:

Many of the tracks have really cool samples. For example (makes you think of VO's backstory): "Can we make it back to earth?" "The risk is great. The decision, of course, is yours." (Microgravity, Tranqualizer)

Then there's the track "Cygnus-A" on Microgravity _obviously_ inspired by my great*21 grandfather. ;-)

Unfortunately, Biosphere's older CDs seem to be difficult to get on various net stores. I have them all mp3'ed, how does the live365 thing work, Screwball? Can you upload them if I give them to you? I found one of the older tracks on Musicmatch

Any chance we could get a list of all the songs that are on the current normal 3 hour play list? I'd like to get some of them.

The default playlist is actually a little over 6 hours now. As I understand "da rules" I'm not allowed to publish a list of songs that will play in advance. I'm going to ask them about that, though, since it has already played the songs many times, and it tells you what song you are listening to as well as the past two if you look at the station page on the web.

If you have questions about a particular song, though, send me an email or chat with me in game and I can try to identify it.

Ads can be up to 60 seconds (absolute max, enforced by the server). Price is 500k credits/week, or 1.5 mil for 4 weeks (25% off).

And yes, ST6 has been advertising for a few weeks now.

4 ad slots total are for sale, and I'd prefer not to have any one group hog them. There is a 5th slot reserved for TGFT. The ads play approximately once per hour (the randomizer sucks, though).

In terms of format, it should be an mp3 that will be converted to 64kb/s when it gets uploaded. No music in the ads due to copyright issues (unless YOU made the music, I suppose).
