Well I will vouch that this is backed by CLM as stated, hope that helps cause I would love to see this. Think its much more creative way of stating things..hehe . :)
Honestly, the only reason I prefer to stay under alias is to discourage flames :)
Here, let me do a ninja edit and stick to paraphrasing, etc... see how ya like it...

CLM Closes Diplomatic Doors - PA Refuse Comment, Declare War
Very recently, the quiet atmosphere of greyspace has turned chaotic with sweeping, rampant rumors; some range from PA turning into a pirate hunting faction and declaring entire organizations hostile, while others tell of excessive mudslinging and veiled threats. The question is, what's really going on?
We tracked down Lieutenant Taranis of the Cargo Liberation Movement to ask him if the rumors of high tensions between the pirates and Pheonix Alliance had merit. After a series of dirty looks and muttered threats to our continued well-being, we did convince Taranis to comment: "Fine, but I'm makin' this quick. From this point, CLM is formally breakin' all diplomatic ties with the Alliance. We're just plain sick of it. Can ye leave me alone to me drink now? How the hell did you people even find me? Go away!"
Our efforts to gain further comment from the Lieutenant were abruptly ended when he knocked his stool over, hefted a battered rifle, and inquired as to whom knew what it felt like to get filled with iron. Attempting to track down his superior, Commander MysticRogue, proved equally fruitless as our crew was stopped by armed men and ushered swiftly from the station. Evidently, a notable excess of these individuals have been posted throughout the installation in question.
We attempted to reach the Phoenix Alliance on this issue in order to gain a response statement, but were refused comment by ranking officials.
We also spoke with Councilman Yoda of the enigmatic Syndicate pirates, who only recently recieved word of rumors that the Alliance had declared his faction "Kill On Sight" and targets of a war. Yoda stated "Eh, I knew I was KOS, but we didn't know there was a war!"
In order to gain an outside perspective on recent events, we turned to Councilman Eldritch of The Guild of Free Traders, a long-standing organization of tradesmen that frequently ply the spacelanes outside of national territories. When requesting their view on the relative events, there was a lot to be said. The Councilman gave us a very in-depth view of how [TGFT] sees things: "Our current stance is neutrality in any such conflict ... we do reserve the right to protect free trade, [and] change our stance if the principals of our guild are threatened. We are historically not known for our love of pirates, but this rumoured conflict does not yet concern us." When given the hypothetical case of tensions increasing further, the Councilman stated that "the council would convene to discuss an appropriate action if deemed to be required [for protecting] our members' liberties."
With the evidently degrading relations between the Cargo Liberation Movement and the Phoenix Alliance, all we can do now is wait and see how things evolve. If a second war is declared, greyspace could clearly become a much noisier place.
---------------------------
Took out some details, Quirc should be on here shortly to confirm he's fine with his bit, and I think someone is getting a hold of John Eldritch and Yoda :) Would this edit work okay? I know not a lot of the humour was taken out, but if I take out too much we end up with something boring and uninteresting to read! Can't have that :)

Mysti alerted me. I'm cool with it, it matches my character pretty well.
TGFT comment approved for publication.

Syn comments made by me are also things that I actually said, no disagreements here.
Alright, as long as all involved/mentioned are aware and approve, I'm ok with it.
Alright then. This will be a bit of an experiment. It's still a bit more of an editorial/opinion item than what was hoped for, but I and others are impressed by the willingness to make this work. Thanks to all for their cooperation.
It's published with minor spelling/grammar changes.

nicely twisted there. but its been twisted since day one.
From PA:: Council and Ranking guild members were warned not to comment on the recent events. quite frankly we didn't want to be misquoted, and no attempt to get an answer from the commander was attempted.

Hey, Whistler!
Thanks for helping fix up that newspost for the last dueling tournament.
There's another one coming up and I just wanted to make sure that I can make this easier for you this time. What, aside from the forum post's title, do you need to make the post?
The relevant post is on the RP thread, title: "2nd Ultimate Dueling Championship"
Pretty much all that needs to be posted are the rules and sign up/fee info. The sponsorship of this event is TBA.
Thanks in advance!

It would be most helpful if you would post the entire text of what you want published here - exactly as you would like it to appear. For example, your current forum post starts out pretty chatty, and later requests that the reader "sign up here" for the event - not really fitting for the News. Remember, I'm a volunteer - it's not cool to expect me to go find your text elsewhere and edit it for you.
ok, i will edit it up and repost the entire text here. I hope you didn't already go through the trouble of editing the forum post...

Sign up for the next dueling tournament! The name may have changed, but it's still the same tournament...
Combat begins on Sunday, December 23, 2007 at 0100 GMT (that's still Saturday for many of you, so be aware of the time change).
Location- Sedina D-2
1. All contestants must have a rating of at least 3/3/-/-/- by start of combat to participate.
2. To allow participation by both new and experienced players, all duels must be fought in Vulture MkI ships with a loadout of Neutron Blaster MkI's, these can both be obtained locally at Sedina L-2 .
3. Duelists may use an alternate loadout so long as both parties agree to it, however the ships and loadouts must still be identical (e.g. Tri-Flare Valk X-1s or even Behemoths with Plasma Devastators, if you really want, anything goes, but both duelists MUST agree- an XC ramming contest could be an interesting diversion).
4. Payment of 5000c entrance fee must be made to Gadek Soja prior to start of combat. Please pre-register, but pay on the day of the tourney. No refunds.
5. There will be a cash prize of 10M credits to the winner. Bonus prize at sponsor's discretion. No runner-ups.
6. All contestants must be present in Sedina D-2 by 0130 GMT on December 23nd, or their place is forfeit. Last minute proxies will be allowed to take the place of any no-show.
7. Each duel must be observed to ensure rules are followed and to confirm victory.
8. Please try to sign up early, so I can put the brackets together and not be scrabbling for a piece of paper while the tournament is going on. We will take last minute sign ups if necessary, but I'd rather not.
9. Brackets will be announced and posted on the forum by Friday, December 21st.
10. Spectators may observe in unarmed EC-class vessels.
11. All entrants will be given Ultra Charge power cells to equip before each duel.
That's it for now, please sign up on the Role Playing thread in the VO forum, or /msg "Gadek Soja" ingame.
Hope to see you there, and good hunting, all!

That should be it... is that an acceptable format for newsposts in the future then?
Sorry for the trouble...

Yes, that will do nicely. Thanks! I pared it down slightly and published it. It should be in the stations by the time you read this.
Great! Thanks, Whistler! Now i know how to do it, i'll try to keep it "clean" in the future...
Hiya, Whistler!
When you get the chance, I was hoping you could put the announcement and rules for the 3rd dueling tournament up on the news. Thanks! Details follow:

Alright Whistler, been busy so this is kinda late. If you can get it up before the end of the day, excellent. If not, well, it'll probably be too late. My fault on this one, busy week.
So Here Goes:
100th Nation War!
Dec 30th at 2100 GMT will be the joyous occasion of the 100th Nation War. The event will be held in Sedina D2, weather permitting. The prize pool stands at 200 million credits with more possible. TGFT would like to thank all sponsors for their generous support.
Everyone is encouraged to show up! Whether you're still playing your trial or remember 9 sectors, we want you to come. This event will most likely have a fairly large turnout and as such we would appreciate everyone showing up early. Please remember to stay in your Nation groups to facilitate the gathering of names.
After the event, there will be a furball in Sedina D2 for the next hour or so. Prizes will be determined through the use of a screenshot of your killed list. Kill as many people as you can and at the end, email the killed list to me. The e-mail is waldoze@gmail.com.

Published 7 or 8 minutes later. That was lucky!
Awesome Whistler, you saved my ass!
Hi Whistler, I didn't see the newspost up yet, so I hope I'm not too late. I just realized i forgot to change the title of my post, but i've edited it so it should be good now. The text is just before Waldoze's msg, posted at 11:29AM today, uh... well EST anyway (GMT -5)...
Whoa! I was in such a hurry to publish Waldoze that I didn't look for any previous posts. There haven't been any for a little while, so it never occurred I'd have two at once. I'll look it over and post it ASAP. Sorry about that.
That's cool, no problem, man. I wasn't in a hurry like Waldoze was, so it's all good. Thanks again! :D
