Alloh, I feel like you're doing this wrong.
We need to calculate the price by weight and average kills of each, because everyone knows that decides the price of everything in life.
A normal 3 pronged trident used for fishing is around 10 pounds. A Trident is basically a glorified fishing tool, so it would be safe to calculate it's weight through a trident, and thus it's value.
Since this is science fiction, the medium in which we will find this out is the amount of the average Serco's intelligence. That's something like -3 facts/cell. Times 19 (average amount of Serco cells) would be 57. Therefore, Tridents would cost -57 credits. Yet we must also factor in trident kills. Let's continue to use the Serco as a way of calculating cost.
I've never seen a Serco get a kill with a trident. But a lack of kills would add to the price.
See, what you don't like is that the Serco are a peace-loving people. They actually have a rich culture of expressing their anger out on others and getting it out quicker than keeping it in, hence the ludicrous amount of Serco-Itani skirmishes on channel 100. Us Itani are warmongers and project our anger out in actual combat, which is why we get kills. So since the Serco are peace-loving people, and hate getting kills (which is the only explanation for the ridiculous performance of those Klingons in combat) the least Serco trident kills, the better. So all the times you've missed me would add to the price, making Tridents at exactly 89048093840293.291000. (The decimal is the time you almost hit me.)
Now, constellations. Constellations are a group of stars in real life, so we should figure out the amount of credits you must invest in order to own a constellation.
Everyone knows stars are simply angels. Some satanists and infidels have had the balls to suggest they are great balls of fire - but everyone knows anything made of fire would simply burn itself away, hence the reason Satan is always in a bad mood. He has to constantly keep re spawning.
Now the value of angels is obviously decided by their strength in combat. While Satan must keep re spawning, his Serco minions (everyone knows Sercos are satanists, hence the same amount of vowels in the first four letters) fight the angels. Of course, us Itanis are angels because angels are war mongers, why do you think they're judged by their combat strength? And so the price of a constellation is defined as "The average Kills-Death ratio of Itanis," or, in other words, 89. Multiply this by Satan's irked respawnning powers and it becomes infinite until the end of days, so until the world ends you can't buy it, unless you enslave Satan.
I believe average constellation kills can be figured out by the formula above.
So, in the end: Tridents = 89048093840293.291000
Constellations: You're going to have to play this in heaven, where you can get it for 89 credits. Or you could take the mission to enslave Satan, but that's impossible because he keeps dying and coming back.

[Sat May 11 23:37:02 2013] [100] <Ninjr> "direction" doesn't compute. at light speed mass i infinite and youare everery where at once.

[Sat May 11 23:37:22 2013] [100] <yog Zzz> doesn't matter, point is, the only way to get ot another galaxy is like through a worm hole or something lol or teleport

[Sat May 11 23:41:31 2013] [100] <Zolfo> true but then to get to something on the opposite side would take much time and we would have to take a circular route to get to it not a straight line

[Sat May 11 23:41:46 2013] [100] <yog Zzz> right but the relative speed 2 object goign apart is faste rthan the speed of light

[Sat May 11 23:41:58 2013] [100] <yog Zzz> i mean 2 galaxy
[Sat May 11 23:42:10 2013] [100] <Zolfo> possible some theries say they are traveling that fast
[Sat May 11 23:42:32 2013] [100] <Kister> if that were true, then information wouldn't propagate fast enough to be aware of its existence
[Sat May 11 23:42:47 2013] [100] IRC_ <Alexisss> if they were traveling that fast, they would exist outside our observable universe, so they may as well not exist as they have no causal link to us
[Sat May 11 23:43:17 2013] [100] <yog Zzz> they are actrually, we're seeing lights from like billion years ago
[Sat May 11 23:43:17 2013] [100] <Zolfo> but on the other hand if items were traveling speed of light from us we would never see them cause our speed would be relative
[Sat May 11 23:43:30 2013] [100] <yog Zzz> so in reality god knows how far they are now lol
[Sat May 11 23:43:33 2013] [100] <Zolfo> and the light for us to see them would never reach us
[Sat May 11 23:43:51 2013] [100] <Zolfo> so all vissible objects in the sky are traveling slower then light
[Sat May 11 23:43:52 2013] [100] IRC_ <Ishathis Bessuni> The thing about our current understanding of the speed of light is that it's not simply how fast certain kinds of radiation travel or some sort of magic speed limit. It's how fast *reality* propagates throughout space.
[Sat May 11 23:44:10 2013] [100] <Kister> also, there is no "relatively faster than the speed of light"
[Sat May 11 23:44:47 2013] [100] <Strat> Kister, that's what I was talking about before with "light cones".
[Sat May 11 23:44:53 2013] [100] <Kister> no matter how "fast" objects are moving, and in which vector, their relative sum speeds can't exceed C

[Sat May 11 23:28:02 2013] [100] <tsreknor> Strat there would have to be an interface, although i grant it would tend to get swept out so gamma signature would be reduced
[Sat May 11 23:28:15 2013] [100] <camocowboy2> and so am i strat lol been awhile since i had a conversation like that
[Sat May 11 23:28:28 2013] [100] IRC_ <Nahin Lor> hence the theory that it's antigravity, as I mentioned
[Sat May 11 23:28:38 2013] [100] <Amadeus Molaris> Is there any chance that Xithrocite exists anywhere else in the Universe?
[Sat May 11 23:29:16 2013] [100] <Strat> Amadeus, if the Universe is truly infinite, then there's not only a chance, there's a certainty.
[Sat May 11 23:29:20 2013] [100] <tsreknor> dau h-9, you have to get past the bots
[Sat May 11 23:29:38 2013] [100] <camocowboy2> xith can be found in divinia m14 too
[Sat May 11 23:29:46 2013] [100] IRC_ <classibot> The 359th Nation War will take place in the Sedina system in 17 hours. (Sunday, May 12, 2100 game time, 5PM Eastern) The prize will be 50 million credits or more, sponsored by VPR, Ancient Panther and Vigilance.
[Sat May 11 23:29:46 2013] [100] IRC_ <classibot> The Nation War will start ON TIME. We will NOT wait for any stragglers. Delays for unusual events are at the host's discretion.
[Sat May 11 23:29:54 2013] [100] <Strat> I hate you, classibot.
[Sat May 11 23:34:26 2013] [100] <yog Zzz> how is inter galactic travel possible when the universe is expanding faster than the speed of light?
[Sat May 11 23:34:55 2013] [100] <Ninjr> Space fold drive
[Sat May 11 23:35:00 2013] [100] <yog Zzz> lol
[Sat May 11 23:35:04 2013] [100] <Zolfo> you forget yog you are also traveling faster then the speed of light along with the universe
[Sat May 11 23:35:32 2013] [100] <yog Zzz> yes i am, in the opposite direction of another galaxy
[Sat May 11 23:35:34 2013] [100] <yog Zzz> which doesn't help
[Sat May 11 23:35:47 2013] [100] IRC_ <Nahin Lor> not necessarily the opposite direction
[Sat May 11 23:36:13 2013] [100] <Kister> if you think there's an "opposite direction" you don't understand expansion
[Sat May 11 23:36:36 2013] [100] <Zolfo> actually only objects on the opposite side of the spiral are traveling opposite of you which is why when one travels to the other side they must go around the c
[Sat May 11 23:36:46 2013] [100] <Zolfo> circle*
[Sat May 11 23:37:02 2013] [100] <Ninjr> "direction" doesn't compute. at light speed mass i infinite and youare everery where at once.
[Sat May 11 23:37:17 2013] [100] <Strat> There's something called the "light cone" that deals with these sorts of things.
[Sat May 11 23:37:22 2013] [100] <yog Zzz> doesn't matter, point is, the only way to get ot another galaxy is like through a worm hole or something lol or teleport
[Sat May 11 23:37:29 2013] [100] <Ninjr> and everywhen too.
[Sat May 11 23:37:35 2013] [100] IRC_ <Nahin Lor> you know. one day we will actually know about what we're talking about (humans)
[Sat May 11 23:37:36 2013] [100] <yog Zzz> so i doubt that will happen for a logn time
[Sat May 11 23:37:46 2013] [100] IRC_ <Nahin Lor> _know_ instead of theorize.. that's kind of scary
[Sat May 11 23:40:42 2013] [100] <Zolfo> univers is expanding from its center not other objects
[Sat May 11 23:40:54 2013] [100] <Strat> There is no center.
[Sat May 11 23:40:54 2013] [100] <Ninjr> the 'laws" of physics might be different in another galazy, might even be made up antimatter.
[Sat May 11 23:40:55 2013] [100] <yog Zzz> u have to if its directly opposite
[Sat May 11 23:40:57 2013] [100] IRC_ <classibot> yog Zzz: Did you mean "you"?
[Sat May 11 23:41:02 2013] [100] <yog Zzz> stfu classbot lol
[Sat May 11 23:41:18 2013] [100] IRC_ <Alexisss> [100] <Zolfo> univers is expanding from its center not other objects
[Sat May 11 23:41:26 2013] [100] IRC_ <Alexisss> um, all objects are expanding away from each other
[Sat May 11 23:41:31 2013] [100] <Zolfo> true but then to get to something on the opposite side would take much time and we would have to take a circular route to get to it not a straight line
[Sat May 11 23:41:34 2013] [100] IRC_ <Alexisss> not necessarily from the center
[Sat May 11 23:41:35 2013] [100] <Kister> there isn't a center
[Sat May 11 23:41:46 2013] [100] <yog Zzz> right but the relative speed 2 object goign apart is faste rthan the speed of light
[Sat May 11 23:41:51 2013] [100] <Hammertoe> he will live exactly as he did 50,000 years ago
[Sat May 11 23:44:54 2013] [100] IRC_ <Mr. Chaos> >Quantum
[Sat May 11 23:45:09 2013] [100] <Kister> i missed that strat, sounds like we agree :)
[Sat May 11 23:45:17 2013] [100] IRC_ <Espionage> you guys are nerds
[Sat May 11 23:45:19 2013] [100] <Strat> Objects that are causually separatd can have relative velocities greater than c.
[Sat May 11 23:45:27 2013] [100] <tsreknor> agree with Kister and Strat :)
[Sat May 11 23:45:28 2013] [100] IRC_ <classibot> tsreknor: Who?
[Sat May 11 23:45:42 2013] [100] <Strat> But they can never interact.
[Sat May 11 23:45:49 2013] [100] <Amadeus Molaris> You can make that accusation of anyone who actually plays this game! We're all nerds. :)
[Sat May 11 23:45:57 2013] [100] <yog Zzz> do you guys believe in god?
[Sat May 11 23:46:05 2013] [100] <Strat> I'm out.
