Like it said, give it some time, don't jump the bullet. I might however agree that the centaur is a bit to powerfull (and what would have been expected) at the moment, and that it needs an adjustment, but please keep it in small steps. I do not want to see it turn back into the sluggish coffin it was before. The cargocapacity that it carries is to little to be just a coffin with a decent hold. And once the total rehaul of the balance has been done by the devs look back. Since I have complained a lot myself after each update. And guess what, a couple weeks later all my complaints had been taken away in one or another form without any hotfixes. I don't know how to explain it otherwise then the devs know what they are doing how to get fun into the game.

Yesterday I fought several proms in an orion centurion and was able to bring em down by a good amount - could have killed one or two in a duel for sure. Since I'm far from being one of the best pilots in vendetta, I have no doubt in saying they are not ueber. Stay away from the AGT, use neut3, dance a little, and you have a good chance to bring em down, even when it's driven by the best serco pilots.
Just Amarus was unbeatable for me, but I've never been good in dodging flares...

Well. I fixed my itani standing a bit. Up to -599. Picked up some N3's from my stockpiles. And suddenly, proms weren't such a big deal, I killed 4 before finally succumbing to Lin, in a double kill from a close rocket blast.

Does it seem odd to anyone that these "special" weps should be so necessary for the itani, and so unnecessary for prom pilots, for whom they are much less useful than flares?

In that case, the itani have far more to lose in the CTC.

I think we may need to consider that currently, the prom is even with very light ships given that N3's are present. And then its not fair to have them be the prize for the CTC.

We must also think of the serco. With their special being the prom. Wouldn't it make sense to have a different kind of wep?

Perhaps, in the interests of game evolution, the N3 should cease to be a special item, and something new should take its place.

I've been running the Tram-ragnarok for a while. It eats TyCorps like nothing else, for PvP it works pretty okay, if you hit. but when oyu hit, well... most people panic after the first hit.

It strikes me that the Prom as it is now is *the* ship for CtC: it accelerates enough to catch the transport, it can bring a quite respectable firepower and its armor is so important that it can afford being hit or even flared a few times during the run.
