I thought about a SuperMega Heavy Ragnorak that had 3 turrets on the top, bottom, and back, plus guns in front. Like a B-52 bomber or something. Smaller than a Trident, but bigger than a moth and about as fast as one too. Load up some swarms, get some buddies on board, and go take down some big ships! Maybe enough armaments aboard to bring down a Trident's shields? The thought alone makes me salivate.

Hah, that would be awesome. It would have to have like massive Cost and like some kind of medal to get it. It would have to have ship-specific weapons aswell, (turrets) and should weigh a ton...

And I see only 2 possible turret spots: top and bottom.

Also, I'd much rather see the marauder getting turret add-on boxes instead of the ragnarok getting beefed up, which it does not need.

Aright so maybe one turret on a Rag for a buddy to get in and use. As it is, Rags are solely Spammers. I mean sure, some people can actually use them with rockets, energy and rails, but I would like to see it get at least one turret variant. Take away some weapon ports, we don't care...

Whoa tosh, you *totally* misunderstood my idea. In no shape way or form did I suggest that the Ragnarok needed to be improved. No, I said that a entirely new ship called the Ragnorak might be implemented. It would simply be a very large ship with several ports in front, mounted turrets, and room for 3 buddies, although with no place to dock. Friends would have to hop on at a station. Of course it would have several times the armour, and price, of say, a Ragnarok, and would move slower, as ships of that size are prone to do.

The idea struck me as I was piloting a Ragnarok, and thought that it felt like flying a miniature Cap-ship, but without turrets to cover my flanks. Eh?

Hm. I still see the marauder for that, since it would be an existing design that could (hopefully)be more easily changed than an entirely new ship.

But I like the idea of a heavy gunship.

It would have to have a new design, otherwise it would be really spikey, the polygons would just be too flat and edgy.

Yeah, a Ragnarok wouldn't make the best model for that sort of thing anyways. Maybe something the shape of a Warthog would be better. Three sided anyways, to give a good amount of cover for the three turrets. And as an added thought, some sort of Gatling Turret would be far sweeter than those Super Gauss ones.

"Ragnarok" is already a term from mythology. "Ragnorak" makes it look like the devs can't spell.
