It's funny... no Itani ever complains about Serco attacking them, or not for long. And vice versa. Yet with pirates, they do...
Wonder why that is. Oh and AJ, just piss em off back. Go get Chaos Swarms from Corvus and get a few buddies to help.
As for any pirates who'll hiss at me, Awww, poor babies. We should just roll over in our trade ships and make it easy. It's a nice double standard.

The reason so few people pirate is not because it is WRONG, but because it is DIFFICULT. Very very few have the skill to pull it off even part of the time... a slightly skilled trader can get away 9 times out of 10. Which is fine. Looking at the real world relationships between predators and prey, prey FAR outnumber predators and predators fail on MOST hunts... the few successful hunts provide enough nourishment to continue however... barely. Most predators subsist only a few failed hunts from starvation... as do most pirates in this game.
Also, most traders understand that player pirates significantly increase the danger and hence the FUN of the game. As far as station camping/n00b killing? NOT fun, neither for the pirate nor the prey... the few that engage in it are either making a point (and it is thus a temporary situation) or are dickheads... and just about any player you ask (including the pirates) will help you against those kind.
Rather than asking for some kind of artificial protection... ask players for help... you may have to pay for the services, but that again is an INTENDED part of the game.
Also, Dr Lecter is NOT a troll, though he can be rather harsh in his posts. Just cause you don't agree with them does not make his points invalid.

if there were thousands of player then fair game,but as someone said earlier,theres more pirates in there than traders.
though i have to disagree about lekturn,his posts speak for themselves,if someone talked to people like that face to face,they would soon be in a casualty,so they vent online anonymously,i have yet to see him post anything constructive or even arguementitive,he enters the thread and just starts to dribble. ..thats indeed a troll.
