your existing bounty can increase.. it was the same bounty being increased.

P.s. Sub Factions can place bounties too, if your hated by one, dont kill their NPC's in monitored space.

Incorrect. It was claimed before it was added a second time.

and either way, if I'm getting it for killing myself, then that's what we call "borked". the bounty system is borked.

Well anyway, can this be locked? cos i gave the correct answer ages ago, bus wars at stations = bounties, you can sell them! I dont usually personally profit from mine, but by heck, a bus war is a great way to grind one :D
