Trade convoy related bugs

That's such an odd bug. I hear it a lot, but a lot of people aren't affected at all. For example, my ping hasn't gone over 100 in months. But other people will have <60ms pings, then get 1000% jumps when a convoy comes in. It's obviously not a bandwidth issue, since VO's bandwidth usage is in the three-digit bits per second measurement...

I'm not so sure if this is a bug or not, but it is definitely strange behavior.
The convoys seem to come in 'waves'. A huge group of about 10 or so convoys will come through a wormhole (say Dau-Azek) at the same time every half hour to 45 minutes, but between those 'waves' there is not a single bot that passes through. Even if it was not a bug, it would be _nice_ if they came at more random intervals. I've observed this behavior in multiple places all over the universe. It doesn't seem to be localized to just one region. The convoys will even show up to stations in packs.
(I'm not talking about bots IN a convoy, but separate convoys).

This is because the bots are being launched by a quick script one of the devs wrote, rather than being launched due to supply + demand.

fewer large convoys would be nice... and more middle to small-sized ones (vbariety here folks)and would cut down on the lag spikes as well.

Ever since the new voys, I've had constant lag issues. albiet small, they're still an issue, especially when they happen CONSTANTLY. I can't even figyt in a light ship anymore, without bouncing all over the place.

Ok, I know that I was stating that I thought there were too many voys... but right now, there's none. Which sucks.

in Arta Calestica c4 the convoys just go out of the station and loop back in, this happens everytime i have logged in the past day, Bow they acting like a bie hive, crashng into eachother, and more just come out of the station,

Escorts to convoys are tied to their escortee when leaving a storm. So where the escorts will fly and engage various bots in the storm, the Escortees will head to the exit point.

Then, when the cargoships jump, the escorts will immediately follow, without caring for where they were in beforehand. (no, they weren't in the storm exit)

They also seem to be very fond of asteroids and can stand there going "ooh" and "aah" at the intricate rock shapes for extended periods of time. I wouldn't care if it wasn't for the fact that they do this inside the NFZ.
