Nah, all those people are spelling just fine... It's those broken keyboards that are the problem!
I would like to tke this time to remind a few about certain red named peoples typing, i'm sure theres more I can remember, but the last bug i recall was a certain *an unit*.
Don't get smart with the Devs Rhoda ...
what's this password protected thing that Safari keeps complaining about, Hoax?
Hoax tried to inline include an image that has HTTP Auth turned on for its parent directory. Bad Hoax!
oops, how embarassing ... I can of course see it fine because the password is cached ... duh, it's pretty funny too. I crack myself up.
Let me just move that image. I'm working on too many sites at once... Or rather I'm playing in photoshop instead of paying attention to the too many sites I'm working on at once.
There, sorry 'bout that.

A Plan for the Improvement of English Spelling
by Mark Twain
For example, in Year 1 that useless letter "c" would be dropped
to be replased either by "k" or "s", and likewise "x" would no longer
be part of the alphabet. The only kase in which "c" would be retained
would be the "ch" formation, which will be dealt with later. Year 2
might reform "w" spelling, so that "which" and "one" would take the
same konsonant, wile Year 3 might well abolish "y" replasing it with
"i" and Iear 4 might fiks the "g/j" anomali wonse and for all.
Jenerally, then, the improvement would kontinue iear bai iear
with iear 5 doing awai with useless double konsonants, and iears 6-12
or so modifaiing vowlz and the rimeining voist and unvoist konsonants.
Bai iear 15 or sou, it wud fainali bi posibl tu meik ius ov thi
ridandant letez "c", "y" and "x" -- bai now jast a memori in the maindz
ov ould doderez -- tu riplais "ch", "sh", and "th" rispektivli.
Fainali, xen, aafte sam 20 iers ov orxogrefkl riform, wi wud
hev a lojikl, kohirnt speling in ius xrewawt xe ingliy-spiking werld.

The consonants already outnumber the vowels a great deal... maybe we should just add a bunch more vowels instead, and lower the requirements for U a little. U makes a good noob letter.

I vote that we make S a vowel. All in favour say Aye!!
This is going to be one of those threads. I can just tell.
SYE!
I don't think there's enough variance in the letters at the moment. I think we should have a few with mk2 and mk3 variants such as S' and S''. These would be like normal S's but would have more power and could be used in conjunction with more letters. For example the S''s could be used with letters such as j''s so s'j' would be capable to take on the uber y and s''j'' could defeat, in the the hands of skilled lettersmiths, the y''. The y'' definately needs'' a n''e''r''f''.

Here I thought the idea of making 'S' a vowel was to create a wider variety of vowels... it seems that failed miserably.
