A few users seem to be spelling "weird" "wierd". It's "weird". Really.
& wierd 30 0: weird, weirdo, weed, wider, wired, word, Wed, wed, Ward, vied, ward, we'd, wield, wide, Waiter, Weider, waiter, weirds, weired, whiter, weirder, weirdie, weir, wire, wiled, wined, wiped, wised, wived, witter
Anyway, um.. yeah, I hope this bug gets fixed soon but I don't really care. :) Carry on.

how wierd of you to put this in the bugs forum
:P

I love english
I've found a simple workaround for this until it can be patched:
Completely omit the letter "W" from the game.
Completely omit the letter "W" from the game.
No no no, that will make the letter "Y" too powerful, particularly since it can also sometimes be a vowel. We must nerf the "Y"
OMFG that will completely unbalance the alphabet by reducing the number of available stick-form letters in favor of the curvilinear letters! Cuneiform scribes will be completely unable to play on their ClayII tablet computers!
Oh yes, and have you considered making more money in order to hire more developers to finish this game faster? Oh ya, and charge less. You can't do it now because it's MY idea and I plan to copyright it.

I'm sorry, FM, but I've already patented ideas, so you're going to have to pay me royalties.
I'm proud to say I learned to spell weird properly just maybe weeks/months ago!
HaHaHaHaHaHaHaHa... You're killing me FM. "Nerf the "Y" !!! HoHoHoHoHo...
yes, indeed.... we all know the Y is so pitifully weak that only n00bs use it..... and only dumb n00bs, at that :o
I propose that we lop off its left branch and redesignate it as a lowercase "r".
Just to demonstrate how absurdly overpowered Y is, observe:
Hall-folk fail me,
my warriors wane; for Wyrd hath swept them
into Grendel’s grasp.
-- Beowulf.
Hall-folk fail me,
my warriors wane; for Wyrd hath swept them
into Grendel’s grasp.
-- Beowulf.
Wyrd!!!
FM: Everyone knows that lopping off the left branch of "Y" turns it into a middlecase "r." I prefer the idea that we get rid of the bottom branch and turn it into a floating "v" which'll replace "f" when it's read as a "v" (in "of")
There's a middle case?!
beige, cleidoic, codeine, conscience, deify, deity, deign,
dreidel, eider, eight, either, feign, feint, feisty,
foreign, forfeit, freight, gleization, gneiss, greige,
greisen, heifer, heigh-ho, height, heinous, heir, heist,
leitmotiv, neigh, neighbor, neither, peignoir, prescient,
rein, science, seiche, seidel, seine, seismic, seize, sheik,
society, sovereign, surfeit, teiid, veil, vein, weight,
weir, weird
>I prefer the idea that we get rid of the bottom branch and turn
>it into a floating "v"
Or even better a flying "v" for Judas Priest attack mode.

Not to worry, we've got a plan in place for you, Rhoda.
Hoax: the middle case is especially useful when using improper nouns. Things that aren't quite polite or high-class enough to be considered proper nouns. Like names of pet rocks, pet doodies, types of farts, that kind of thing.
Todays thread has been brought to you by the letter Y and the number 7.
