because more people read general?
There is that.
Fucking Bear Grylls... he's fake. Got a camera crew helping him out and I'm pretty sure smearing feces all over your face is not a natural mountain lion repellant. And you know how many times that douche bag has gotten diarrhea from eating every fucking bug he comes across? If that were real life it would have been a death sentence. Besides, he only stays for like two or three nights.
Les from Survivor Man ftw.
Oh yeah, and Photoshop Phriday never disappoints:

Damn, look at that expression on her face. I think she's carrying another carrot somewhere out of sight.
Haha, fuck that guy. This guy ftw.
What is a "naturalist" and why do they all have strange beards?
Is that a serious question?

See, everyone and their grandmothers have beards. And beards are per definitionem strange. I'm sure you've grown one before, so you would know, too.

Because shaving gets to be a pain in the ass after a while without a lot of supply's.
Honestly I think Proenneke had it rougher being that he was older when he started living in the wilderness. Muir was 30, Proenneke was about 50, and he had already been through rheumatic fever, bedridden for six months. Originally the navy doc's said he may never walk again, or at best, would be moderately handicapped.
He also lived alone in Alaska three times as long. The biggest handicap by far that he had was that he grew up in a more modern time. The knowledge needed to live in the wilderness was much much more commonplace in 1868 than 1968, these days half of America can't even properly cook for themselves.

It just so happens that the chord changes are written in the excerpt.

Yea if the tank catapult crushed "lil wayne" (I'll guess "lil" is supposed to be "little"?), that would be the first entertainment he'd've provided me.
Also WTF is with his facial expression, was he in the middle of cleaning his teeth, or just doing an impression of the KOS face from targetless?
