I ran into none other than CNH in the computer lab today. >.<

anyway, you are, in theory, more likely to be in the same town as someone who plays Vo, since the only real way this game is spread is by word of mouth.

He saw me browsing the VO site in the comp lab and said "You play Vendetta too?", and asked what my handle was. When I told him I was known as CNH he proceeded to exlaim that "Wait, you are Captain 'Nice' Hardrive? I wanted to shoot you soooo many times" =P
I learned about Vendetta from the now-defunct Dawn of Infinity project, but I didn't bother to investigate further at the time. But last year near the end of summer I was on a vacation and bought a VO box on a whim, and have yet to regret my purchase.

On another note, the CDC may no longer exist as an officially recognised body, but it still lives on in spirit. The guid's 'death' could probobly be attributed to Moldy's resignation as CO, and general apathy among the members. I might have been able to hold the guild together if I could've been in-game, but alas my subscription has since expired and my dad is too paranoid to let me renew it at the moment (He wouldn't even let my older brother renew my subscription as a chritmas present, but what can you expect from a man who still uses AOL?).

Word of mouth? I found it off the Apple website in the game downloads section.
ROFL, yeah. I have been spreading the word, and I've gotten three or four people to try out the game.
Person, it has been spreading slowly, but, more WOM then anything.
Yeah, even zamzx here has been helpful in that regard, recounting his "exploits" on other game-related forums.
Oh, I was assuming other people actually looked at that. I thought that was the reason for having such a high number of mac users in the game.
