TeamDX 20
TeamDX is a team deathmatch event between pilots of all colours, calibers, and standings! Enjoy unaligned team-based PvP in Sedina with us - all are welcome! Come gather in Sedina stations on June 30th, 1:00 GMT [use /time in-game], where you can receive more specific info for that day's event. The event itself starts at 2:00GMT. Do not come to spectate - entry into the sector during the event will register pilots to one of the teams. Pilots are assigned to one of two teams as they enter the sector, and must gain points for their team by destroying the ship of an opponent pilot. The match ends after ~20 minutes, where the score will be tallied to announce a winner. Total number of matches are determined based on event participation levels, with a ~10 minute break period in between matches.
This will be the 20th TeamDX event to be hosted. Those unfamiliar to TeamDX should contact the Host in-game, or on the forums. All ships and equipment are allowed. This event is recorded and available for viewing, for those who are unable to make it.
The rules will be covered before the event's first match.
Do what you can to make the event a seamless experience! Make sure to follow these pretty simple rules:
Do not harm the pilot running the event management software. They'll be the one assigning pilots to different teams and reporting kills to the sector.
NPCs and Capships do not get put on any team, and currently cannot be registered, so kills by or against bots do not reward either team points.
Again, NO SPECTATORS! event sector entry will add you to a team, immediately, so until pre-registration functionality can be added, those wishing to spectate will have to wait till the recording is uploaded.
This pvp event is hosted is hosted in greyspace. Any pilot who wishes to participate should understand that there is no factional protection in greyspace, and participates knowing the dangers that entails.
The code used to manage this event is still in development, so the event may be put on pause to fix problems that may arise. Please help by giving feedback about functionality during the event’s break times, and point out potential flaws.
