3) Participants must average at least 2 duels a day over the course of the event. Any participant that does not meet this threshold will not be considered for prizes.
4) The reward for each prize will be determined and announced at the start of the event. Prizes will be given out for the following accomplishments:

- Most wins
- Largest score increase

5) INTERPRETATION OF ALL RULES ARE SUBJECT TO [TRI]’S DISCRETION ALONE!
At the end of the day, this event is to encourage friendly pvp. It is the best part of the game and unfortunately it is a dying aspect. So please, I ask everyone to join us in helping make this new event a successful one. And don't forget to sign up!!!!!
Safe flights, good fights and long nights!

I haven't seen this in the events announcements.
I'll have to look tonight. It's in the list and is approved. I'll do some testing to see if there's an issue.
I updated it, so let me know if it magically appears.

[SWA] presents: Murder WARS I
Murder wars is a bimonthly 2 phased nation(Itani, Serco, UIT, Grey) based battle that takes place in terribly inconvenient locations.
Date: March 24, 4446 @ 22:00 game time.
Location: Deneb H-12 (we did say terribly inconvenient didn't we?)
The basic rules are:
1. No team killing during phase 1
2. Don’t start until the organizer says “GO GO GO”
3. All ships are welcome (including capital ships.)
4. Observers are welcome in EC-88/89s
5. All weapons allowed.
6. Premining is frowned upon, but allowed.
Phase 1:
1. Nation vs nation. Last nation standing wins.
2. Members of surviving team split 20 mil credits.
3. Anyone committing team kills will NOT be awarded a prize.
4. Do not run from the fight. A little stealth is ok for strategy. Waiting for everyone else to get bored and leave is not ok. If the event organizer thinks you are being a bore, he or she reserves the right to DQ you.
Phase 2:
1. Surviving team will fight themselves for 10 mil credits. Last pilot standing wins it all.
2. phase 2 will start only after phase 1 prizes are handed out. Wait for the “go go go”.
1 mil credit bonus to any pilot who survives phase 1 in a moth. | 2 mil credit bonus to any pilot who wins phase 2 in a moth. | Free Lenb to every attending pilot including observers.

.
RULES:
No pilot shall ever equip more than one tube of seeking missiles of any kind. This is to prevent spamming and 'noob-toobing'. If more than one flight of seeker is live at a time, the judges may deem it spamming and the offending party will forfeit the round.
The following weapons/equipment are not permitted:
ANY nonstandard battery (Hive FC, UC, etc...)*
ANY nonstandard weaponry (Hive Posi, Hive Gat, etc...)*
ANY equipment requiring a badge (Certian Railguns, etc...)**
* Nonstandard equipment and ships may be used ONLY if both combatants agree to allow them before the round
** Megapositron is OK
A pilot may fly with an ordinance-only layout, however if they do and deplete their ammunition before killing the other player, they automatically forfeit the round; if BOTH players use ordinance-only, both parties will forfeit the round if one runs out, and the round will be re-played. To prevent abuse, if this occurs more than once in a match, both parties will be ELIMINATED.
All ships and layouts must be announced prior to each round they are used in. Players are permitted to change ships or layouts between rounds and may postpone a round (within reason) until a layout is decided upon or a compromise has been reached. In general, your opponent must agree to your loadout if you're flying anything out of spec. Any deceitfulness may result in the judges ruling you forfeit that round.
No draws will be awarded; if your explosion or leftover ordinance kills your challenger after you die, they win the round; the first person to be destroyed loses the round. If the win of a round is disputed, chat logs must be submitted to determine the winner, and will be validated by the judges of the match.
Two judges will be present at each match. Players wishing to help judge must register with [TRI] prior to the tournament. To register as a judge, visit this thread: https://www.vendetta-online.com/x/msgboard/14/35479
Anything else goes.
.
TIME TABLES:
The Tournament will begin as soon as two registered competitors of the same class are paired up and online. Players will be given one week from then to register for their classes before new entrants are turned away. The Tournament is not restricted to a certian time schedule, and will continue until all matches have been won or lost and the winners determined.
Tournament Officials (judges) may choose to remove competitors from the tournament if they do not show for an extended period of time.
