Weird, apparently some people aren't having any issues. I am one state away, and cannot connect either. I get timed out. Same on test server.

IN wiki it speaks of a main career and a sub career.....cant really choose it can you..

I think it's up. Seems like some areas are not able to connect, while other are. Perhaps this maintanance the phone companies are doing is causing it?

Hopefully server will be back by 20:00pm GMT. That's when we'll have the war. Also at 22:00pm GMT. Strange that the devs haven't been on all day...

tumble, why should a phone company in the US prevent me from connecting to the VO server? I'm in Costa Rica, half way down the continent.

I don't remember specifics, but something about how traffic is routed locally. If the phone company is changing it around, then any route passing through what they're changing can be affected. At, least, if I remember properly.

Every failed attempt trying to log in also stops the the itunes radio I have going... and sadly I'm not a VIP member of the station so I'm not always able to get back in when its "reached its maximum user capacity". Most of the other jazz stations aren't near as good as that Dimensions in Jazz...

At least its something to do as I wait for the server to come back.
