Well, we know Momerath's off camping somewhere this weekend, and I say he totally deserves it. As for the others, they are probably enjoying some time away from VO, too. Still, one of them is bound to check in sooner or later...

Isn't it bad to trapped in a server like that? doesn't it reset all your stats to zero?

Just woke up. The active list looks the same as it did when I logged at 3am. Dev probably are still assleep and haven't noticed. Give it a couple hours, someone will notice.

They`ll prob have kittens when they realise how long its been down.

might be an idea to appoint someone as server admin who lives on the other side of the world. just being able to reset the server via the most basic remote means (telnet, etc) could be enough to stop downtime of this sort happening again. that is, if the server app just crashed..

If you looked at the statistics of server up vs server down, it probably would be impressive. Every Game I have played has had it's down times. Some even add in scheduled down time.

Just be glad you won't have to suffer the stat reset like those poor 25 players that got trapped in the server. Imagine all your levels and money and ships and badges gone. Starting as a compleat newb again. It's sad.
