Did the memory requirements change? On my mac that has 256MB ram (the one I usually play on) I get as far as choosing a character and clicking on play, I see 'entering universe' then it's back to the desktop. This does not happen on my powerbook that has a gig of ram.
[edit: in my config tc is already set to 0]
Thanks,

It now says "object" instead of "cargo" in the target box thinger
The radar's even more broken than before (I'm hated by all the factions 'cept for corvus on [syn]n00b, but some sercos manage to show up as green some times, and red other times. Same goes for UIT, but I haven't noticed it with 'tani yet.)
Capships spam "error trying to remove object (11:something)" like mad. (I think it has something to do with the beams. It also does this with rockets on occasion.)
Probably the last of the old cool things is gone: "such and such is having issues" is now "such and such self desructed." I protest. Issues must return.
/vote mute pops up a lua error (although if you try it without a name, it tells you the usage, like normal.)
If you select a new tab, in a station, the focus is on the tab selection thing, not inside the tab. (supposing you go into the commerce tab, and then his "s" hoping to get to the small port weapons, it'll take you to the ship tab instead, unless you click insie the commerse tab first.) It'd also be nice to have the key for each button displayed, or at least listed, somewhere. Some of them are pretty counter-intuative.
The jettison window's kindof annoying now. You can't hit "a" to dump all your cargo, which is a pain in the heat of battle

Yeah, 1 2 3 and 4 should be the upper tabs, and letter keys should control the side tabs. And thanks for the productive post genka!

[EDIT] Woah, did I just say what I think I did? Genka? Productive post? Wwwoooaaahhh...

I, too, approve of '%player% is having issues.' :D
A couple of things, not really bugs as such:
- The text for "Entering Universe", "Do you accept these terms", etc. is way too large. It's too large for the space it's contained in, it really should be shrunk down.
- I really hope the grey buttons (close, scrollbars, etc) are going to be replaced (probably, just wanting to check anyway).
Thanks for the work you chaps are putting in, it's really appreciated. :)

Ha! Coincidentally (honest, I didn't even know Ray removed that), I just added '%player% is having issues.' to the Escort and Guard missions :)
I'm still having issues with the iMac going to sleep when I config the joystick. NO I don't use mouselook, and I've got no hot corners... but maybe the game thinks I do? I'll try to explore this more tonight.
Leber, maybe it's just tired?
Or maybe it grows bored with Leeb's incessant fiddling.
And yea, so it was done, and the discussion moved on to the Beta3 Feedback thread.
