do it with photobucket. its much simpler.
EDIT - GAH Ray beat me to it by 2 hours. Oh well I'll leave it up and let FM decide whether to delete or not.
Working backwards from the original config.ini settings, which were:
[refgl]
illummap=1
envmap=1
bumpmap=1
tc=1 <----------------------
minfilter=9987
maxfilter=9729
specular=1
windowmode=0
textureresolution=0
texturequality=32
gamma=8
def_freq=0
tfactor_hack=0
doshaders=1
dovertexbuffers=1
doindexbuffers=1
do_compiled_vertex_array=1
do_env_combine=1
do_extensions=1
vbl=0
In order to get it to work on Mac OS X with nVidia cards, you need to fix the default setting for texture compression to OFF by doing this:
tc=0 Fixed the problem. (nVidia cards have problems with texture compression, I seem to remember reading something about this in earlier threads.)

OK Holy crap REALLY wierd problem:
As soon as I setup my Saitek Cyborg EVO joystick (calibration and set up what roll/pitch/yaw were), I applied the settings and the Beta 2 client put my iMac to sleep. (Just as if I had selected "Sleep" from the Apple menu.) Needless to say, I was surprised by this.
I jiggled the mouse and tapped the spacebar and the iMac woke up, but then about 10 secs later it would go to sleep again. I noticed the lights on the joystick would go off, but power back up again when I moved the mouse or tapped the keyboard.
I got this Lua error, but I don't know if this is part of the problem:
http://www.coalitionofitan.org/itan_images/ugly.jpg
This is a REALLY wierd one. Only happens with VO. Nothing else running at the time major app-wise. Just normal system 10.3.9 stuff and VO.

I was bug-testing on the test server with beta2, taking a few escort missions... I'm not sure if this was just the test server or if it was beta2, but all the ion storms entered had no blue ion environmental graphics. After the missions were completed, the ions were still gone.
Map is covering description of player factions on character selection screen.
BUG/ISSUE:
station interface is slow, and I am unable to turn off the station in background (which, I assume, is responsible for the 1fps render speed I get when trying to move my mouse in the station menu)
Suggestion:
Can we please have the ship models replaced bya green wireframe or something in the equipment area? the solid picture looks too out of place.
Another cool thought, would be if the wireframe reflected damage of the previous sortie in color like the monitor on the HUD does. It would have to be given that it would automatically repair before you left the station, but it would allow you to see where you took the most damage, and contrast to weapons placements, etc...
Also, I know it's pretty and all, but is it possible to have a lower-graphics setting for the client interface? (i.e. reduced movement/fx, no transparency, etc...) It would probably help speed up the handling of the menus on machines like mine which sport an old, generic onboard graphics card.
I really didn't have much time to play with it, because as soon as I clicked launch the first time, my modem decided to shut itself off, and I was kicked from the game before going into the other room to reset it.

some much more mundane issues are:
-the "Replenish All" button doesn't replenish all. In fact, it doesn't replenish anything. However I do like how it displays all your weapons and stuff.!
-"Other Addons" for the batteries just isn't very descriptive. Maybe for now, change it to "Batteries."
--On second thought, perhaps have "Small Weapons," "Large Weapons," and "Other Addons." Meaning that small weapons are all equipment that uses a small port and deals damage to other players. Large weapons are all equipment that uses a large port and deals damage to other players. And "Other Addons" includes batteries, scanners, mining beams, and repair guns.
-the jump screen still says "Speeding through space" and not "Improbability factor of 23984848273847:1"
-At Sedina L2, I purchased two Flechette Mk.IIs for my Centaur. The first flechette got loaded, but no graphic appeared. The second did not appear on the equipment list. And for some reason, the battery image is tinted red. Same thing happened when I bought two gatling cannons. Upon clicking the port, the "Equip" button lit up, as if the centaur was unloaded. When I loaded a weapon into one of the "empty" ports, the weapon loaded, and all of the port graphics appeared, as well in as the addons list the extra Flechette II and the gatling cannon that was replaced appeared.

Not sure if it was listed before, I'm too lazy to check it... but I got myself blown up and wanted to buy my ship back, but I couldn't. The screen stuck at the "Purchasing" dialog. After cancelling, I did have my ship back, but without items, it seemed. I could use the station, fly, but not buy any items. Re-docking didn't help. Restarting the client worked; actually, after a restart, it turned out I _did_ buy those items, but couldn't see them. While reconfiguring my ship, the client crashed (segmentation fault). Being adventurous, I tried to setup my ship again with the new client, and it's fine now. I just have a few more spare spare parts at my home station...
Cheers,
Harry

Replenish All does actually work, but the interface doesn't update at all, so it doesn't look like it does anything. If you change ships and back it will fix it.
Yah - i've noticed what a1k0n says is true (at least for me) - and not only for the ammo screen, but for others as well, like the cargo screen.
¬_¬
Wow, that's gonna be confusing, Harry Tuttle.
Community is in for a good time...heh.

another interface suggestion: Move ship sales completely off the "Commerce" tab, and to the "Ship" tab. On the "Your Ships" screen, maybe havve a large button in one of the corners that says "Sell Ship" or something.
grouping in the new UI is a bad thing, at least if you do it in space and try to /hudmode.
not sure what all happened but my keypresses got locked to the groupchat without a /prompt window, couldnt control the ship, and with no keypresses I couldnt bring up the console to close the LUA window because for some reason I had no mouse pointer.

Logged into the test server tonight around 11:20pm EST with the new client, just before momerath restarted it. I was booted by the server when he did, my ship in space near a wormhole, with the message "Connection to server lost" (or something to that effect) and went back to the login menu.
[Aside: When there, I got the "Connection to server lost" dialog again seemingly at random, just after I had clicked on the "video" button under "options". When I closed the "Connection to server lost" box, I was back at the main login screen with the "video" menu open behind it. After opening and closing some menus I was able to get it focus so I could close it. Minor bug, obviously ;) ]
Anyway, I logged back into the test server. My ship was still in space. I tried to type something into the chat, but got an error message in the general chat tab saying, "You must wat 5.06e+003 seconds before sending that type of message". It did that a few times for normal chat attempts. Then I tried to PM momerath, and I received no error message. He didn't get the PM, though.
Logging off/on did not fix the problem.
Closing the client then restarting it did.
I didn't think to change chat tabs, but no chat was going through.
OS: Windows XP
... do you need vid card? :/

Same thing happened to me - no sector chat either.
I had the problem today (twice) where I had entered a station, to find the GUI stretched out past the end of the screen (so much that I couldn't quite get to the Options or Launch button).

The semicolon thing pisses me off cause I hit ; instead of ' all the time, and the semicolor always truncates my messages, but I guess some character needs to do so. Oh well.
Any word on why my widdle iMac goes into sleep-mode when using the beta2 client? I'll try again tonight and see if I can repeat it. Of course, it was repeatable LAST time, too.

May mac also tend to like to take naps at random intervals when using the frist and second beta cilent, rather odd its not like machine is an old timer. However Vendetta does not crash and once i get it to wake up i find myself flying off into the distance.
