Misspelling "embarrassing" while starting a topic on embarrassing scenarios in PVP.
Oh, and misspelling the word "happen" anytime, anywhere.

Forgetting to reload dry flare tubes and then getting pwned by a behemoth.
Well, being a relative newbie, most of my PvP experiences have been embarrassing, in a sense... but I don't let it bother me.
Most embarrassing? That would be when I got so excited during a cap ship battle, chasing and hunting this one particular bad guy [hey, he was red in my radar], shooting and shooting and shooting, and hitting, too!... and eventually realizing that for the past, oh, ten minutes my group had been telling me that so-and-so was a FRIEND and was on OUR team and was even in the same group as me ... so I wasn't doing any damage anyway. I wasn't even noticing the chat. I got the tunnel vision real bad.
I did do that smacking into the 'roid during a duel thing, though. Not embarrassed about that. It happens. Repeatedly blasting at a teammate and not catching on, even with players sending me chat messages telling me to STOP... that was embarrassing.

Well, it wasn't during PvP but it was very embarrassing...I was mining Denic in Sedina in an out-of-the-way roid sector with no bots. I was in a moth and the small roid was only 25% so, as you know, there was a lot of jettisoning and the going was slow.
Well, I really had to go so I doned my suit and went EVA. I found a low outcropping on the roid and had just got my pants down when Incarnate drifted above the horizon and screamed at me for changing the mineral content of the roid and thus violating the EULA.
I turned beet red, ran for the moth and woke up when I hit my head on the hatch.

Forgetting to change your loadout between prospecting missions and dueling.

Trying out my brand new joystick in a cap-ship battle. Getting tramshed in my sights and warping instead of shooting. At least three times.
