I'm curious about what the general population's opinion is regarding what is an embaresing thing to have hapen in PVP

Is it getting tagged with a mining beam?

Is it finding out only after you fire off half your ammo that your target is a member of your own nation and therefor you can't damage them?

or is dying to certain ship types the most enbaresing thing that can hapen to you?

Getting killed by Shape's pink valk.

Well, actually, getting killed by a valk period. It still totally blows.

Getting killed by me.

This hasn't happened to me since I first began playing Vendetta but...

Constantly checking your six and thinking you've escaped death from a dreadful pirate, only to turn around and see a bigass asteroid quickly filling up your screen as you're boosting right into it at full speed. I think that happened during one of my first Icarus encounters back in the alpha days, and I was in a Ragnarok of Gold Nation at the time. Ouch.

Discovering that the charged cannon you were firing was in fact a repair module?

Getting killed at 1060m because you forgot to dodge a rail shot.

Getting killed by Shape, regardless of ship type or colour, is not embarrassing.

Most embarrassing to me, is losing a fight that I've talked up a lot, all confident I would win. Back when the Behemoth was first introduced, I said I could probably kill it in a freebus, and someone took me up on the challenge & killed me. I should have won that fight, I was just stupid & wasn't cautious enough. But losing after I'd all talked it up was embarrassing.

Well according to Unknown player node, it was getting killed by an Atlas Type X...

But for me.... hmm.... I never really had any embarrassing PvP experiences because I have no shame in PvP.... course that could be because I fly Atlasses and Warthog Mineral Extractors... There aren't too many ships that would embarass me.

*looks at DS4 grinning like the moron he so essentially is* Yep, drifting straight backwards waiting for the shot to finish what had been a VERY boring round of PvP with you constantly backing up for a good 10 minutes is SURELY an embarrasing "Oops, I should have dodged!" Took you about 400m of drift to take the bleeding shot, too. Next time, I promise to just be an asshole and go /boom.

Being very sleep deprived, buying a new loadout for your ship, swapping all the equipment out, leaving the station and drifting out to 3k while chatting, then warping into a battlezone and onlt then.........

discovering that your "uber prometheous of doom" loadout is worthless because you accidentally slapped a free battery into the simple thing instead of a fast charge.

Going into battle with an Lmine in the front port of the centaur, and a Jack in the back port of the centaur...

and having them tied together in one weapon group.

Another one is picking up a quad-rail hornet out of the list of ships that you had stored at a station, roar off to battle, and realize that you have no ammo.

Hey softy2, that also works with a megaposi in the back.

ask for a duel, pick up a ship and fly all the way to duelplace... then notice that you forgot to put on weapons.

Even more hilarious is if the other side did exactly the same :D

Accidentally hitting your /explode button when your at 100% and the other guy is at 30%.

I really need to move that button...

Putting a prox-mine in the front L-port slot, and an avalon in the back one. :-D Instanuking goodness!

Getting killed by my 5-flak (3 flechette cannons, 2 gatling cannons) rag.

Getting killed while in a normal ship by my stock EC-88

Killing Spellcast but than backing up into a stray flare he shot 20s ago (and dying).

Firing 16 sunflare rounds without hitting anything and having to run to reload (well, I am still new with those).

Picking up a load of CTC cargo in a Rune Valk and trying to turbo away when cornered (zero acceleration I can tell you).

Note: No questionmarks were harmed doing these stunts. At best some feelings were hurt.
