Maybe some of the other game companies will take note.

What you don't realize is that VO isn't exactly overflowing with subscribers.

I just installed vendetta and when I try to run it I get Latest version: vendetta-1.8.113.1

I am running Ubuntu 9.04

did you install the game with sudo? if so delete the .vendetta directory and bin/vendetta and try reinstalling without.

yeah kudos for the linux client. My 5 bucks are definitely going there, and other 5 for the superb product :)

It might sound a bit odd, but I haven't played in months and just leave the subscription running as a sort of donation.

I love the concept and that it runs on linux. Just been waiting for the u list to be beaten to death.

If it wasn't for the linux support, I would not even know Vendetta Online existed. Now I am playing, merrily, after having signed up for 3 months. I will pimp this game every way I can.

I'm kind of late to pile onto this thread, but I have a good excuse: I have not been on the game or forums for about two years (my wife had a baby and we moved cross-country), but I have kept my subscription alive just to support you guys.

I wouldn't have found this game had it not been for the Linux support and I doubt I would be such a loyal supporter without it.
