Great idea Paedric! But I suspect that complaining about ships & weapons is irreducible to nation specifics.

At the end of the day, everybody can already fly a maud or a valk or a prom and use whatever weapons they want to.

one of the reasons that im Itani is to be abble to fly a valk...
so keep it just to us...
even if everybody says that the valk is not a good ship i still LOVE it and will fly in it for long...

I think paedric put it nicely about the analigous varients or new models for the other nations. Part of the problem is that originally the ships were designed strictly for pvp in an arena style fight, now the game have grown and there needs to be more variety and rivalry for ships from different nations and factions. What Paedric has suggested is the right way to go about it. But, obviously it take a lot of time for the devs to develope a new ship model, test it and get it into game, SO, in the mean time what are we left with… Unbalanced Ships. But whats new. We just need to make the best of it, and stop thinking of all ships being equal because frankly they aren't. Each has a role and whenever someone tries to take it out of it's role and make it something different the nerf fest begins. Proms are heavy ships and are not light fighters, I think it's a great idea to give the prom more spin torque to allow them to track better but keep there trust low so it's hard for the to give chase. That's a job for a light fighter or light bomber.

Since everyone with good Serco faction can get a SCProm, they WILL be used to destroy your precious SMV Nemesis as soon as the thing finally makes its introduction to the game, GET USED TO IT!
