When we do have the reset for the new universe, *PLEASE* don't make it a experience or levels reset. Many players have worked hard to make the game like it used to accessability wise, and making a complete reset might make some people even quit. I'd recommend just a inventory or just cash or inventory and cash (maybe even standings). But once again please don't reset experience and levels. Thank you for your time.
Hi welcome to this thing known as a test. Our purpose for playing this free game is to help the devs test various functions of the game. One major thing in this test is the skill system and economy. When a major update does happen that could potentialy change the way the game is played (for instance the addition of 7680 sectors) a reset can happen. This is for the continuation of the game as a potential product to the general public and quality gameplay. So everybody say it with me whats our job here?
Thats right to bug test and give feedback on what we think should change that would be better for the product! Not personal gain!
Now keep having fun with the free test!

A reset would do the game good. The mission need more testing and the leveling will need balancing.
The way I see it, the less time we spend killing bots the more time we can spend testing new things with the engine and gameplay. For instance now that I have my old ships, I was messing around with Sunflares and noticed a few things.
-When you rush past them at 200mps you still get hit...but if when they explode your already far away...what's up with that?
So when they have the reset, they're also reopening the test, which means n00bies are going to be botting and tradeing and testing *THAT*. So why don't we *split* the testing?
By the way can you tell us as soon as you know when the reset is? I think we should have another "party".

if we have 100s of people testing the same stuff at the same time, beter testing will get done, plus it will be unfair to the n00bs if there is no reset
Pish posh! We all remember how bad it was when ValkJocks roamed the galaxy! It's completely fair for n00bs to earn their stripes. Besides, the odds of a n00b running into a pirate or someone "evil" in 7680 or sum sectors is pretty low.
Nah, there will pbe designated starting areas within each nation, i'm pretty sure. WAit around there... and you get easy pickings.
I've pirated before...you usually don't go after n00bs unless there far away from their home sector in a bus or a trade ship.
Nah, i pirate close to their homesectors so i can build a stockpile of like 5000 widgits right there
But do you pirate *IN* their starting sector? That's what I was referring to. :(
I've gone to 3 before while chasing prey.
On-topic please.
I'm 100% for a reset.
I'm 100% for a reset.
It's just important we have people exploring and making sure that all of the sectors work...this would be delayed for at least a month if players didn't have their current engines/batteries/ships. We as testers must spend as much time testing *every* aspect of the game...and as I said before, n00bs can test the missions, we can test the universe. So please just make it a partial reset.

It's probably an issue with latency. The sunflares actually blow up immediately after triggering thier proximity fuse, but the message that the sunflare has blown up has to be sent to your client. As a result, from the perspective of your client, the Sunflares blow up when you are already .2 seconds (or whatever lag you are running) or so beyond them and they are visually up to 70m away. The damage however is already recorded based on the distance between them and you at the time that they actually exploded. Also, keep in mind that sunflares have a 60m blast radius...
