Building a station has been on the devs to-do list for 5+ years now I think. They said it was gonna come with v2.0. That's a project that is really huge. So making that a suggestion is pretty much pointless.
Credits have been made harder to get. Ok. But they're still too easy. And I already said making them harder would be unfair. I was just raising possibilities and crossing them out. Same with raising item cost.
I can't say any more than this. I think purchasable cappies won't negatively influence the player market or make things "too easy". You think they will. There's a clear difference of opinion here we are unable to bridge. Repeating our respective opinions again and again won't change that.
Making purchasable capships does not devalue existing capships. They are a class in themselves. They are not supplementary goods. The proposed nerf makes them impossible to compete with. Maybe even buff the manufactured ones, or, since you seem to feel the goli is making things "too easy", buff just the manufactured dent.

If you want something purchasable that has a little bit more oomph, push for access to the NPC moth.

Yes it does , what you're basically asking is for a shortcut to build your capship when most vets built their first capship with behemoth XC on their own.You can keep rebuying the capital ship cheap from GS over buying parts from players or hiring escorts/haulers. (Which effects the player 2 player trading )
It is end game goal & should be time taking.

I think ScotiaKnight hit it square on the head. You can buy Goliath and Trident kits from players for not much more than the OP.
A player to player trade economy is developing and changing, let's not torpedo it.
I think there is room for a ship between the XC and the Goliath, but that is another thread. I don't think the top two ships should be purchasable, but maybe a new and lesser one can be.

We all float that's a good idea. Access to the Behemoth Heavy. A ship with lower cargo, but double the Armor and most importantly higher grid. Enough grid to equip a qbeam.
I see now why you think the player economy will be hit. So ok. No new purchasable capships. But access to existing NPC ships or new ships. Expensive ones.
