when players do not assist in a battle, serco win about 73% of the time.

This is a BS conclusion based on a review of an incomplete set of data. Long ago I analyzed NPC vs NPC deneb battles over the course of many months and concluded it was indeed equally balanced. Just like all other things that have set "rates of occurrence" in VO, sometimes you get a bad run of luck. Sometimes it's queen drops, sometimes it's Levi drops, and sometimes it's sleeping-sector-Deneb-NPC-vs-NPC battles.

"There's a lot more stuff that exists in real life that you can't emulate into a game. Its retarded to compare RL to a space sim.

Also is there an existing game mechanic that allows you to blow up stations? no? move on.
"

You misunderstand. I'm not talking about adding a station destruction mechanic (though that would be great). You objected to the removal of the stations on the basis that it wouldn't make sense in regards to the lore. I merely pointed out that you were wrong. The devs could remove the stations and explain it by saying they were destroyed in the conflict. No broken lore, no new mechanic needed, and it's a lot less effort than making the stations conquerable.

Maybe just make them not able to accept people into the docks? I'm thinking starting mid deneb cycle game play. Half way through, the closest itani station to geria has a large skirmish, if Serco win, the station is temporarily off limits, Itani win, then it remains usable. This could be explained in the lore as acess to it is cut off, but the Serco are unwilling to commit the resources to board it and take it by force, preferring instead to leave it cut off to starve. Destroying it is not necessary, a station full of dead people isn't worth worrying about.

From there you have a pattern that can be repeated for the other stations.
