I think this is pretty self explanatory. Give capital ships the ability toto use automated turrets. Players use bots, and I think it's time we all have access to using turrs while piloting caps.

Invite some new players to be gunners. Even better than automation. Players as gunners can track targets.

Turrets should be manned by real people. This is an mmo game. If you can't make enough friends to play with turrets, you're in the wrong game.

You understand that it doesn't matter if you have friends right? Bots are a thing. It's better everyone gets access to automated tracking turrets. While it will make caprails a lot deadlier it Wil also give everyone else a advantage

If everyone else has an advantage, it ceases to be an advantage. That said, you don't need friends in game. Just hire some gunners. A business relationship does not imply a friendship.

If you havent noticed. Most of the players in VO have stuff they'd rather be doing then being gunners. Not to mention it isn't a surefire thing for their to be gunners when you need them. Not eveveryone enjoys being caprailed to death with something that can't even deshield a dent anymore. Implementing automated turrets gives everyone the same chance and not only those who go the extra mile with extra devices

About gunners, just mentor a few newer players. New players LOVE flying around as gunners. They are always asking about the capital ships. It's a great way to show a new player the galaxy.

As I said. Shield turrets. Being able to shoot a continuous stream while piloting will help a lot. Goliath becomes more affective at evading death and it doesn't get chased down. I'd much rather prefer having caprails chasing me then have to choose between guns or piloting while said players can do both

The people that play with bots aren't doing anything that any other player couldn't do. And, to be honest, that sort of game play only comes about when some idiots are just trolling.

What I've noticed in the last few suggestions threads are suggested changes by would-be trolls that prefer to continue their trolling in game without interruption. The fact is, because of their trolling, they can't make friends and overcome when others decide to troll the trolling trollers before the troll them. Which is the opposite of the Jeet Kune Do of trolling: "the art of trolling without trolling."

Just do what they're doing or get some new players to gun for you. Promise them a night of fun in exchange for some mentor points and you might even have fun yourself. And maybe even convince some new players into subbing to build their own Goli.

what you are calling "bots" are player accounts running plugins. How would you propose to get "rid" of them?
