Badger is designed to provide escort cover for larger convoys.
The 4 Gat 2 turrets target the pilots selected target and fire using primary fire button. Turrets are placed in a cross pattern on the front/mid part of the ship, 1 top, 1 bottom, 1 port, 1 starboard. These can not be swapped out with any other turret.
The two firecracker turrets are placed top and bottom on the rear of the ship. The turrets [ are Activated/Deactivated with the secondary trigger and ??] will only fire on hostile attackers exactly how NPC convoys work. These can not be swapped out with any other turret.
The ship will have zero shields but will have a built in group radar extender.
Manu will be exactly as Goliath except: -Artemis cores -docking bay +100 Guardian cores +4 Gat2 turrets + 2 Firecracker turrets.

It's a little early and premature to bring up ideas for new capships. Do I need to explain why?
Unlike Blaqk I didn't ask for it right now or via /vote capship yes. More of taking them in a different direction.

Dread and I have talked about this for awhile. It would fill a niche that the current cap ships (glorified cargo haulers) don't at the moment. +1

This suggestion is a waste of time, there are no assets behind "it" unlike the HAC, Terradon, Capella, and S/P. There is no incentive to start yet another project when there are still several being worked on and nearly completed.

Curtis is putting out new art assets, it's in his capability, and the developers do on occasion put out new ships. It's a suggestion to fill an escort/corvette niche that neither fighters or cap ships as of yet necessarily fulfill. If it fits into Incarnate's grand vision, we'll see it happen, if not, it won't. It's ultimately for the developers to decide.

either way, sounds good for future use. though, it reminds me more of the "Anti-Aircraft turrets" in Project Sylpheed, only mobile and armoured and plenty bigger. "Attack" styled capships alone sound pretty nice.

+1 One thing, is the powercell swapable? Other than that, I can see this cap ship filling the gap between cap ships and standard ships. Well thought out.
luxen keep in mind project sylpheed even those large ships were easy to kill even on the mass driver mission where you needed to destroy 2(+?) destroyers and those are heavy armed to the teeth, but then again those "anti-aircraft turrets" was like our teradon, spam fire at you and hope for it to hit, and i am assuming that's the semi idea of the 4 gatmk2's?
edit: and also +1 not a bad idea making a non shielded capital escort ship with the idea of protecting its escorts.

Devs hasnt even done with capella or trident type s/p and a pie-rat request for another capship lol :p let them finish with capella first atleast.

Calling a thought out suggestion a waste of time, and implying that they should work on other projects first isn't actually a critique of the idea. Unless you have something constructive to say about the original post, please move on elsewhere.
