i'd go as far as making the mass 500kg and increasing the level requirement to 8/6/9/-/- to make it a nice alternative to the Mega Posi for advanced players.
then +1
then +1
Trade XP requirement too low -- make it 2.
+1 to large port neut. no brainer
OK adjusted levels up a bit I think the suggested levels are a bit high so I compromised at 6's. Dropped the weight to 500kg.
trade XP should hold no requirement for weapons, that just makes zero sense..

Why not?

why the hell not??
why the hell not??
because you damn dirty trader, weapons requirements should be based on combat license. trade license should only affect what size cargo ship can get and the rates you get for buying and selling.
What logic dictates that trade license should affect being able to buy a weapon?

Wally, if the OP suggested making this a hive badge, and straight 6's for combat relevant licences...what player are you expecting to have less than trade 2 while going for this. So I counter: why the hell do you think it should have trade 2?
+1 Why don't we already have this?
It's simple really, players with less than Trade 2 will get too much of an advantage by having access to a weapon like this.
A weapon that could only be effectively used on UDVs?
Fine but only if neut mk2 weight gets reduced to 500kg too and mkIII gets its damage upped to 700.
Otherwise it does not make sense to have higher damage L port weapon weighting less then it's S port counterpart.

@bojan
I had the weight at 600 originally, but the mega posi weighs 500 so I assume the was the reason for the request to drop the weight.
Hogs & Rags and Centaurs and if you are really crazy moths.
@greenwall
Again why should trade have any affect on what weapons a player can buy?

Why shouldn't they? There currently exist weapons with Trade XP requirements.
that doesn't mean they all should,, mega posi doesn't, plees troll elsewhere.
how is a satanic large port neutron blaster not a trollpost to begin with?
+1 (make it require trade 14)
The megaposi does need a companion,
I had envisioned a lessor weapon then the Mposi but this is nice too...
