Rogue is defined as acting against your nation, not for it. Deneb is only 1 frontline, greyspace is another. What you guys are saying is that capping stations for your nation, doing CtC, defending and attacking blockades, that doesn't count?
That's a rather poor argument draugath because greyspace is not a country, it's also a zone for conflict every nation wants a piece of.
You've forcing people to do what they don't want to do even though they already proved themselves worthy in grey.

Idd, if you go back and read what I said youd notice I stated "unless youre on a specific mission" which the CtC, and other things fall under, however the going to Sedina b8 and just killing random people which are not even the enemy is not helping your nation.Wasting resources on meaningless targets in meaningless zones does not prove you worthy, it proves you deserve punishment, your stripes taken away, your privilege to pilot the top tier military ships removed. IT IS rogue activity.

Shatterdome: yes I read that, and I totally agree with that. Randomly killing people in B-8, however, is completely different from killing your enemy in B-8. If it was directed against people who are obviously innocent, then ofc it'd be a waste of resources.
If you were to destroy a group of Itanis in B-8, why should you get your stripes stripped away from you? You were doing your job, killing Itanis. Simply because you didn't do it in Deneb doesn't really give enough reason for your nation to outcast you.

As I said, if you can do everything in grey, why would you go to Deneb then? It changes nothing
Obviously, you shouldn't be penalized for working outside of military orders in systems other than Deneb. My point was that in the real world you'd be more likely to be court-martialed than rewarded for acting without orders. That doesn't work in a game like this. So rather than the Devs trying to come up with a list of potential scenarios that might be construed as positive for the purpose of military advancement, they should restrict all such advancements to specifically crafted missions (not including CtC) that may or may not be targeted at Deneb. But this too is going off-topic.
