Hi all players and devs:)
I think is time for the game to placed for trade (in Capitals Stations of every faction...) ...to buy an capital ship (Heavy transport or Trindent).....
I believe a price of 10billion creds for Trident and 5billion for Heavy transport ..is fair ...
Be sure the players whos only like to hunt/kill ...to can find an purpose to this game and stay more...
With my Regards

Capitol stations should have capship docks yeah. Then we could actually dock at more than one place with the Tridents we already made and, you know, trade things.
Why did you make the Constellation Heavy Transport half the price of the much smaller Trident?

The prices are ridiculous
and the capital ship stations in capitol sectors is already a suggestion

+1 to a 5 billion credit connie

These.
+1. It takes months to make 10 billion anyways, maybe even longer than manufacturing it, and would give guild banks a point.
There are no words...

If after I spent months building a trident they are released for sale, I will go postal....
That's like bitching when somebody buys a movie in a matter of minutes, just because you waited in a long line in the middle of a blizzard late at night to see it when it first arrived in theaters a couple years ago. And it wasn't even a good movie.

I was trying to be funny, fail there I guess.
Also I don't see it happening. People asked for crafting, the devs delivered crafting. They would not quickly torpedo the crafting system.

I do not think you should be able to buy a cap ship off the shelf ,but you should be able to buy the individual parts ,for a lot more credits than it would cost you to make them

Because it will only trade a challenging work for a big boring tedious work.

Already it's possible to buy some parts from other players. Over time it will become part of the economy.
@ Pizzasgood: +Eleventy Million for Axis of Awesome!
as for the OP... w/e, but yeah a connie should cost 3 or 4 times a trident. The problem is it is currently way easier to make 5 billion faster and in pretty cushy nation-space, in-system safety than it is to haul all those parts around manufacturing cappies. Even if conquerable stations have all left a key under the mat. Plus the devs get lots of sub monies from freaks who obsess over cappies. What's the upside for them in handing over the "endgame" ship(s) for mere exploitable over-inflated credits?
Perhaps I should see what the market would bear, and auction a complete trident kit... any opening bids?
More useful: auction it on eBay for real monies and give THAT to GS. A cappie-farming kickstarter!

If we buy in-game content with real money, I will murder your family.
Hence the joke at the end of the post, Snake... (Except that if you want a trident as currently implemented, you will spend at LEAST $50 in sub time building it, or making the credits to buy parts from other players, very likely much more... but I digress...)
No, I'm more interested how many billions of credits the current over-inflated gun-running VO economy would bring in for a complete trident kit at open auction.
Did TRI ever manage it?

CD: 100,000,000 credits ;)
TRI calculated it at about 4 billion.
I calculated it at 4billion, but I would buy a kit for much more these days. The economy is 100% broken.
Also, that suggestion was on a recommended sell price to stations, its a base market price.

Yes ...the game need to have an Actions system between players and then be have meaning to be someone miner or trader....also a real game economy.....:)
