+1 to fix Capital stations, making them much larger than capships, thus allowing to dock capships to dock to it.
+2 to selling capships, as alternative to manufacturing. And extend that so Guilds/Players can own/sell/buy cappies too.
For me, except for shipyards, all Capital Docks should be external. Cappie remains visible, and possible to destruct. NFZ rules remain. And limited capital docks per station. And each nation +gray gets only one or two shipyards, where pilots can safely park before logoff.
Next, I would keep INSURANCE only for manufactured capships. Purchased ones - from players or stations - have a single life, if destructed, you have to purchase another, just like any small ship. Then we have a way to pay for a cappie, and a great reason why manufacture one yourself, or for your Guild!
Prices? 5B for Trident, 15B for Connie.
And we badly need more capship models, smaller/medium freighters, leaving the Connie as largest for players.

Alloh, I feel like you're doing this wrong.
We need to calculate the price by weight and average kills of each, because everyone knows that decides the price of everything in life.
A normal 3 pronged trident used for fishing is around 10 pounds. A Trident is basically a glorified fishing tool, so it would be safe to calculate it's weight through a trident, and thus it's value.
Since this is science fiction, the medium in which we will find this out is the amount of the average Serco's intelligence. That's something like -3 facts/cell. Times 19 (average amount of Serco cells) would be 57. Therefore, Tridents would cost -57 credits. Yet we must also factor in trident kills. Let's continue to use the Serco as a way of calculating cost.
I've never seen a Serco get a kill with a trident. But a lack of kills would add to the price.
See, what you don't like is that the Serco are a peace-loving people. They actually have a rich culture of expressing their anger out on others and getting it out quicker than keeping it in, hence the ludicrous amount of Serco-Itani skirmishes on channel 100. Us Itani are warmongers and project our anger out in actual combat, which is why we get kills. So since the Serco are peace-loving people, and hate getting kills (which is the only explanation for the ridiculous performance of those Klingons in combat) the least Serco trident kills, the better. So all the times you've missed me would add to the price, making Tridents at exactly 89048093840293.291000. (The decimal is the time you almost hit me.)
Now, constellations. Constellations are a group of stars in real life, so we should figure out the amount of credits you must invest in order to own a constellation.
Everyone knows stars are simply angels. Some satanists and infidels have had the balls to suggest they are great balls of fire - but everyone knows anything made of fire would simply burn itself away, hence the reason Satan is always in a bad mood. He has to constantly keep re spawning.
Now the value of angels is obviously decided by their strength in combat. While Satan must keep re spawning, his Serco minions (everyone knows Sercos are satanists, hence the same amount of vowels in the first four letters) fight the angels. Of course, us Itanis are angels because angels are war mongers, why do you think they're judged by their combat strength? And so the price of a constellation is defined as "The average Kills-Death ratio of Itanis," or, in other words, 89. Multiply this by Satan's irked respawnning powers and it becomes infinite until the end of days, so until the world ends you can't buy it, unless you enslave Satan.
I believe average constellation kills can be figured out by the formula above.
So, in the end: Tridents = 89048093840293.291000
Constellations: You're going to have to play this in heaven, where you can get it for 89 credits. Or you could take the mission to enslave Satan, but that's impossible because he keeps dying and coming back.

If I'm not mistaken... Yarrman has adapted Lovecraftian Elderspeak (the language of Cthulhu) to VO.
Oh an error on the wiki, thanks!
Connies have 12 turrets, not 12 L-ports.
*fixed*
PS: I wish the VO forums had a "sage" feature where you could post to a thread without bumping it... This one gives me a headache every time I read it... ugh
