Since the advent of Lite subscriptions, Serco are the only nation that does not offer a top-tier ship which is accessible to players with license levels of 3/3/3/3/3
Itani have the Centurion Itani Border Guardian at 2/3/-/-/-
UIT have the Warthog Territorial Defender at 2/2/2/-/-
Serco have the Serco Vulture Guardian at 4/4/-/-/-
I suggest we drop the requirements for the SVG to 3/3/-/-/- for Serco players who are members of the Serco Military, so they're not at a disadvantage in the Border Skirmish missions (Where flying expensive ships like this is practical even for new players due to reimbursals)

Alternately, the IBG and WTD could be upped to 3/4/-/-/- and 3/2/4/-/- respectively, if you'd prefer the lights not have access to such nice ships.
I don't really care either way.
Also: Down with the anti-Serco bias! :P

Either up the others or fix this, don't care which.
Personally, I'd prefer Lite subs at least have one decent ship to load up with low- or no-req weapons that doesn't involve going to Corvus to get.

vo-wiki list the Orion Rev-C as 1/2/0/0/0
The Corvus Vulture is technically 4/4/0/0/0, but since it is Corvus, it is effectively 2/2/0/0/0.
I do not mind forcing players to get their great ships from gray, but I also do not mind being able to get at least one great ship anywhere in the galaxy.
+1 to reducing serco vult to 3/3 or 3/3/3. or even 3/3/3/3 or 3/3/3/3/3. don't care. also don't mind if it requires a badge.
However, just so you are aware, this will potentially make the job of [Axe] DE that much easier.

I agree with the idea, but I admit I'm a little more inclined to punch up the WTD and IBG to lvl 4..
I agree with raising the IBG and WTD.
+1 either way
Why even bring the WTD into the picture. Not that I really care that much. I consider the WTD to be a mostly worthless ship anyway. But should we then also worry about the Rev-C, the Corvus Vulture, The Axia EC-101 MKII assault, etc..
As it stands, level 3/3/3/3/3 is at least worth it. A lot can be done at these levels. I consider combat level 3 to be almost a minimum, because some important missions require it. I consider the Vulture MkIII and the basic neutron blaster available at 3/3/././. to be the prototypes of the standard VO fighter and weapon. If you tweak all the special ships, the major benefits of this level set will still be there, so I won't cry too much. But I propose that the pressing issue is the Serco/Itani discrepancy.
Fix the IBG or the SVG, and call it good.

Bump. Do one or the other for Lite subs.
To clarify:
Increasing the IBG and WTD to 4's would require Lite subs of any nation to raise their faction standings to purchase Corvults or Rev Cs. May increase the usage of such ships, and other faction-specific ships with low licenses (Wraith, etc).
Decreasing SVG requirements to 3 or 2 would allow Lite subs of any nation to purchase high-tier combat ships without raising their minor-faction standings. Eliminating the grind has mixed effects, but I think it may be a more newb-friendly option, erasing a measure of grinding boredom.
Doing nothing means that Serco Lite subs are at a disadvantage, due to their inability to access a faction-specific low-license high-tier fighter.

Please do one of these things sooner rather than later.
