Trick: I know you mean well, but could you in the future refrain from connecting the game design to any politically sensitive issues. At the very least politics should be in Off Topic, and preferably should be on another website. I'd be happy to answer Chris Rock on gun control elsewhere, but not here.

As for Chris Rock on game design, I have to say, and have always said, that I think that cost is not a good way to ensure game balance. Even with a revised economy, all you are insuring is that the only people that will have weapons is a small economic elite.

Just what that opinion might have to do with gun control I leave as a mental exercise for the interested philosopher.
