Unfortunately since we're all human behind the keyboard we couldn't drop the human intuition that makes us different from the AI hive. The hive uses numbers in place of it. This would break the hive and make them a super faction.

I disagree, Raven. The rogue AI hivemind causes carefully programmed bots to basically go crazy. Their intelligence is vastly different, but the fiction supports as unpredictable a descision-making process as a player has. If properly designed, this player experience would have huge limitations in lieu of some really cool content utterly unavailable to human players. BT had all the right ideas for limitations in this thread:
