Yeah, the victim needs to be admired to cause faction loss to an attacker. And POS make no difference in loss, no matter how much you wanna believe it.

+600 = Protection, shoot someone who is +600 in monitored space, and you will lose faction, depeneding on who owns the space.

Nation Space = -909.999999 points loss
Sub-Faction Space = -303.333333 points loss
Corvus = Don't give a crap if you are god.

Um, yoda, your model looks a bit flawed: killing someone who is +999 Serco in a Serco monitored sector is very different from killing someone who is +600 Serco in a Serco monitored sector. I'm not saying "POS" is anything different from +1000 faction, but there is a sliding scale. You don't lose much standing at all for offing a +600 pilot.

Didn't you also lose some standing for blowing up respected people? I think I've lost like 30 points or so a couple of times for that.. but its been a while.

Dunno when the last time you *offed* a +600 player in nation space was lecter, but they did change that with the turrets and faction redux stuff. You used to lose *some* for offing a respected player that had +400-+600 and more for +601 and above, thats changed.

Now you don't lose faction at all for respected players, and lose a fixed amount for admired ones. (think it was done in preperation for ff removal)
