It's large frontal...thing...makes it look like an atlas substitute. The wraith even has a sleekish name, which fits the old model more than the new. Replacing the MK wraiths with a new ship and name sounds okay though.

As for the hornet, I've never considered it to be able to stand alone in a fight. It seems more like a support ship. Everyone wants stand alone ships these days, probably because there isn't too much to gain requiring an attack party.

Fnugget: You're exactly right. Maybe if the new model was made into the new Hornet or something, and a new model for the Wraith be made that's sleeker an more stylish and more similar to the old Wraith. But still new.

As for needing standalone ships, and no incentive for attack parties, other than attacking player-owned cap ships, the solution is a much wider variety of weapons and armor/shields and other defensive type stuff, such as stealth and stealth detection. If there are so many options, and not room enough on a single ship for all of them, a group will be necessary to cover all the bases.

If we give the model to the hornet, can we still it call the "Revenant"? Don't get me wrong, hornet is a great name for a ship. But shouldn't a hornet be a little, well, pokier? B'sides, a ship of that sort deserves a 220 max boost.

I love the name "Revenant." It should be in the same line of ships as the Wraith, but one class up. Maybe a very small capital ship. It should be sleek, though, and if there's ever cloaking technology it should come standard with a line of ships with names like "Wraith," and "Revenant."

while your add it, can you please remove the damn large port from the proms, that would greatly balance the ship.

let the prom and the valk have the same fitting, the prom still has its armor, the valk still ha its agility.

Personally, I think I'd rather see the wraith keep it's more 'flat' profile... It couls use tweaking and better texture, but I really liked the wraith for the iconic shape it had... the wide hauler. I don't think it should be slimmed out like that, ande definately not made to look so much like the new bus - the ships need more diversity than that.

I don't really mind the Wraith -> Revenant changeover, so long as either the current trade ships are scaled up to match cargo space and become equally difficult to fly, or the Revenant becomes less a brick-in-space.

Question: Does the new revenant have the same hittable area that the old wraith did?
