Jump Load Time Governor

or you could just give the bots ludacrisly low but existent load times and let the average and below average ping players have less of a dis advantage.

since it is inposable to make a universal jump time, the issue isn't realy balancing jump times between players so much as it is the excessive advantage that any load time (especialy average to slow times) grants to bots who can jump in virtualy zero time.

and then where are we? we still have bots that jump faster than 99% of the playerbase, and most everyone still can't keep up with them.

You're apprently missing my point. The players with average, or even slightly above average load times won't be affected in the least by a load time barier such as I am suggesting. I'm only talking about a long enough period to have an impact on MAYBE the top 5% of players who make up the extreme outliers in high speed.

3-4 second for extremely busy sectors, and one second for empty sectors, as well as times for places in-between; the difference would hardly be noticable, even for a broadband player with a ping of 20 - for the vast majority of players, it would make no difference at all, except in slowing the bots down.

i understand your point, i just think it's more inportant to narrow the gap between bots and average ping players rather than eliminate it, and your sugestion of enforcing it on all players and NPCs above average, seems like it would be more work than simply adding a built in delay to just the bots.

and having bots jump .1 seconds faster than 98 percet of the playerbase is better than them jumping .8 seconds faster than that same 98 percent of the playerbase

or we could even set the bot limiter to be the 75th percentile, so that 25% of the playerbase jumps fastyer than the bots. but i think that is probably a bad idea.
