I vote that the "attractions" (racetracks, testing grounds, etc...) be relocated to Odia - halfway betweent the CtC startpoints, and that the availability of preferred PvP equipment in that vacinity be increased. Give players more reasons to be in Odia and less in sedina, and hope for some migration...
there is also the possibility of making rerouting the wormhole from arta to adjoin sedina instead of latos could change traffic flow as well, taking the preferred chokepoint to a different wormhole than the one CtC voys use...

I vote this way as well, Cunjo, but it never happens. Talk to yoda and see how many times he's tried to do this.

What makes you think I misunderstood you? I didn't say anything either way about moving the CtC route. I don't think Cunjo or anyone is complaining about people attacking the CtC convoys. That's kinda expected. What Cunjo sees as a problem is that there are a lot of people who hang out in Sedina, not with the intent of attacking the CtC convoys, but rather for the PvP in B-8, or the Racetracks, or some other activity that is seperate and distinct from CtC, but because they're in the area, they kill the CtC transports, too. If those people weren't in the area, then they wouldn't attack the CtC convoys.

I fail to see why having targets of opertunity is a bad thing, sounds to me more that your just mad that people are taking out your transports and you can't stop them. That is not a design problem.

Actually, I'd like to see the racetracks scattered across the universe, preferably in newbie systems: two in UIT space, two in Serco space, two in Itani space. Racing is something players of all levels can take part in... and I think it's a shame not to make this feature more accessible to nooblets.

Re: johnhawl218
The problem isn't that players are attacking targets of opportunity, the problem is that the vast majority of the time, those targets of opportunity are the Serco transports, and not the Itani transports. Which means it's imbalanced, which is a problem.
However, I do agree that it's not (primarily) a design problem, it's just a problem because the small player base dictates that there be one PvP sector, and that sector is Sedina B-8. There are a few issues with design that exacerbate the problem (the Hive, Cap Ship battles, and Racetracks all being in Sedina, with nothing in Bractus), but even if those were all removed, I'd guess that Sedina B-8 would still be the de facto PvP sector, and so the problem would still persist. The primary source of the problem is that the playerbase has, for whatever reasons, decided that Sedina B-8 is the PvP sector. Once the playerbase grows large enough that other players for PvP can easily be found anywhere, not just in Sedina B-8, then I expect this problem to become a thing of the past. Until then, players can try to change it by boycotting PvP in Sedina B-8, but unless the majority of players (more than 50%) do that, then I doubt it will actually change. So I'm just going to grin and bear it.

Good point. I'd also like to see the racetracks marked on the system maps...
