nanofeed is really small, see, so it needs your help to get to the other side of the station.

Hehe... you should have a "Feed the Nanites!" mission.
Assuming NanoFeed is for feeding Nanites...

I'd like to see replicating cargo, like the parrots in Escape Velocity. You'd get a mission to "deliver this container of nanites to a station one system over from your current location". Pop out of the station, you get a message that the nanite controller has failed. Suddenly your ship's at 99% and there are 2 units of Nanites in your hold. Every thirty seconds thereafter, your ship would drop another 1%, and you'd get another crate of nanites. I can imagine players sitting outside of stations in a Behemoth farming nanites. :)

heh, those are tribbles dammit. That goes all the way back to elite on the c-64(maybe farther, but the earliest i played was the C-64 port). once in a great while you'd get a shady dealer who wanted to sell you a "special cargo" for some rediculously high amount of money.
If you bought it you'd have tribbles all over the place about half an hour later. To get rid of the little buggers you had to fly close enough to a sun to take damage as i recall.

If you guys have played the alpha/beta of "Starfleet Adventures" by UncleTwitchy for EV Nova (though, it's unavailable to download now cuz some idiots were stealing his work, so he's not going to public beta anymore), he also stuck Tribbles into the game. Great fun as cargo. Buy one, let several game days pass, sell 50. Buy 1, let several game days pass, sell 50... Not much profit, but it's extremely amusing.

this still happens. and even better, I saw a trader going to SkyCommand from SkyCommand in _Latos_.
