NPC Traders
Few things I've noticed about NPC traders recently, at least one of which I think is definitely a bug.
I've seen a few bots going from & to the same station, which doesn't make a whole lot of sense:
**Oranis Prosuni* Hello friend. I am taking Ferric Ore from Oro Mining to Oro Mining.
**Shona Prosis* Hello friend. I am taking Aquean Ore from Jallik Garden to Jallik Garden.
Also, the vast majority of bots are all going to "a top secret research facility." Like, more than 9 out of 10. More than should be, IMO (edit: this no longer seems to be as high as it was yesterday).
And another thing about the secret facility, is that as I hail bots from factions I have worse standing with, they reply with less info, but the "top secret research facility" bit is the last to go.
Bot 1: "Hello friend. I am taking <cargo-type> from <station> to a top secret research facility."
Bot 2: "Hello friend. I am taking <cargo-type> to a secret research facility."
Bot 3: "Hi. I'm just delivering cargo to a top secret research facility."
Bot 4: "Please don't kill me! I am only trying to make a simple living as a trader."
If it's supposed to be a secret, I'd expect them not to tell me where they're going, unless I'm liked well by their faction. I mean, look at Bot 3, he won't tell me what he's carrying, but he'll blab about the secret facility he's going to!
[edit]
Also, either their pathfinding really sucks, or else they were making really poor attempts at evasive manauvers to lose me as I followed them...

As well, bots seems ever more screwy around Dau Senate...
-losing pathfinding (i.e. "I'm carrying cargo to Dau Senate, but can't seem to find the docking port... :& ")
-herding asteroids ("C'mon, guys.... puuuuuush!!... Wait a sec, is it just me or is this thing not moving?")
-attempting to fly IN through the OUT bay.... ("Open up, baby, I'm *sorry*")
..oh and I've also gotten very odd turbo-like aural artifacts on exiting the station, also in Dau L-10... maybe related to the last point above? (there didn't seem to be any bots trying to get in, though...)

OK, so after some more research, here's another thing I think is a bug. But it's actually kinda cool & fun to figure out, so I'm also calling it a spoiler, and telling players who are interested in discovering things for themselves not to read it. It's rot13 encoded.

YEah I noticed that too... I was kinda depresser to find out myself.
Anyway the NPC ships do have a few issues.
I would also like to note that my use of a lightning mine at a station managed to kill a guard w/o calling out the Strike Force.
