Basically, radar my radar zoomed for no reason after i played with my new joystick http://legeny.free.fr/temp/wtfradar.jpg (i don't remember to see any radar-zoom keys in key config nor i had used any extra binds/aliases for radar zooming. I tried to toggle showing objects on it off, but when i tried to turn them back on I couldn't. Now, i can't see anything on it. Radar is there but even when i'm directly looking on any object i won't see it. Not even /showall or using toggle station/cargo/ennemies/whatever keys work.

What I really hate on this story is that even after i uninstalled vendetta, manually deleted everything left and installed new fresh copy, objects on radar won't show >.< I was suspecting my joystick profile to contain some random binds that matched some vo features, but 2nd time i tried to reinstall I omited plugging joystick and I got same result - nothing on radar.

I never had similar problem on *nix using same hardware. The game is really unplayable without radar so i'd like to solve this somehow. Seems like a bug to me, but i have really no idea what is it related to. I could see everything once, than it disappeared and won't show up again even if I erase entire game... that's stupid >.<

Have you tried setting ps_hack in the wgaf.cfg file to 1? Have you tried typing the /showall command?

roguelazer: after reading your post, i tried to add set ps_hack "1" line to config file, but nothing changed. Also, i tried /showall more than once, without any result

What kind of video card are you using?

If only certain items show on the radar, but not others, try SHIFT r to reset the radar display.

If ps_hack fails, you might try toggling between the video drivers in-game.

Actually i have radeon igp340 and ps_hack solved it :) I just changed the entry in config.cfg
