..Will somebody please at least put me -599 TPG? It seems that factions that can be fixed, but are lost by playrs not knowing the rules *even though it flashes before your eyes* are being fixed, but yet, the one mistake I made, got me locked out of a sub faction forever...

Just get someone with bad TPG standing to let you kill them over and over in TPG space. It would only require about 600 kills if you're -1000. :P

The problem with that, Solra, is that then the other player with bad TPG standing would be stuck with the bad standing. IMO there should to be a way to rebuild faction standing, even after docking privileges have been lost. I really liked Spellcast's suggestion of being able to purchase a one-time docking pass from a station def-bot, so that you could dock & take missions to rebuild standing.

Imho you should not be able to improve your standing with every faction. It just kills the RP element of this game. For example, you should lose points with Itani when you gain points with Serco; lose Axia standing when TPG improves (aren't they are competitors?), etc. Atm you can be admired by both Corvus and UIT, Serco and Itani - it does not make sense.

My suggestion: create player "affiliation" to factions; affiliation would make it easier to gain standing with that faction (double rate), but would automatically decrease standing with opposing factions.

Sun, you have hit a good point there, but that is for the suggestions forum, where its been for a while. I still dont think that *with the current situation, IE, a few Itani reckoning they will leave the game if their standings are not corrected - but being able to fix them*.

My point is, they got their standing fixed, when they could have infact, fixed it themselfs (and gained a couple of combat levels while at it.)...

...Yet, yoda is now locked out of TPG forever. If i had the choice between UIT and TPG it would be TPG.

I can correct my own UIT, Itani, or Serco standing, I cannot dock with a TPG station.

If i could do it myself i would, but the only way I see I can is to delete my char, and start over... ...Can you blaime me for being upset at that prospect? I dont care who does it, but im paying for this damn game now, I would like my TPG standing fixed, please.

you shouldnt be able to get special items with every corp, but that should be because it would take too much damn work, not simply because of artificial limitations. (ok maybe there is a place for it in certain cases... like serco shouldnt get Valkyrie) .. but then you should also allow 'team switching'
